Rimworld 1.4 Bug reports
I've set up a Discord server[discord.gg], which is the preferred medium for discussion and bug reports.

Otherwise, drop any issues with the Rimworld v1.4 version of Simple Sidearms here. Ideal bug report contains the following, in descending order of importance:

-likely things that make your situation unique (recently installed mods, research project in question, etc)
-reproducible description of the situation
-full error log (you can grab one by pressing Ctrl + F12)
-modlist (also contained in full log)
-savegame

The right click menu for 1.4's new shelves only lets you equip the first weapon on the shelf as a sidearm.

This is the only combat related mod I have and anytime I equip specific weapons the fire at will setting is not working.

Heya, I think Simple Sidearms might be the cause to why player pawns are not auto firing even when they're drafted. I've run a test with and without the mod on my actual colony and a new one (with the quick game dev mode also).

Strangely in my actual colony whether the mod is active or not, my pawns do not auto fire. Undrafted, unequipped, re-equip, re-draft don't change anything. Starting a new colony without the mod doesn't have that issue.

It may be something else causing that issue, I mean I'm still open to that idea, but at the very least, Simple Sidearms might be causing the issue :diplomacy:

It's not Simple Sidearms. I narrowed it down to something from Vanilla Enhanced. I had a player.log that clearly showed an exception thrown from Vanilla Enhanced when trying to decide to fire.

Running into an issue where my weapons keep disappearing.

It is possible it is another mod causing the issue, or a mod conflict, but the only other Mod effecting weapons is "Where is my weapon?" which should only cause the pawns to collect them after being downed, whereas the issue ongoing is the weapons disappearing completely upon switching or being dropped (Due to down, or force command).

ebeneezer that happens with me without this mod loaded. I am going to check out if the other mod is the culprit now.

edit: can confirm it is the "Where is my weapon?" mod. Will report it over there.

Everytime I pick up one weapon, the other one just goes poof its irritating

I'm having the same issue Summord. I also don't have "Where is my weapon?" loaded, and have taken all other weapon mods off the list yet still have my weapons disappear when I try to equip them.

I'm having the weapon disappearing issue as well. Turned this mod off and its STILL happening on the same play thru

Its Alpha Animals that does it not simple-sidearms sorry for the mistake mod creator.

My weapons dissapear too and i have all the mods you all said desactivated, so i don't know what could be
