This is a centralized are for Bug Reports off of the Github, where I (TurtleShroom) will attempt to tend to any minor issues or pass them on to Had. English-only, please.

I'll start the list off now.

I experienced a bug where I get a Temporary Species Modification Project that never expires.

Here's how it happened.

1. I successfully conquered Ju Ahet and had the Assimilation Zone under my control.

2. I entered a Migration Pact with another empire that had some members of species in my Empire.

3. A Pop of a species I wanted to genetically modify arrived on top of the Assimilation Zone. I didn't notice this and failed to move him away.

4. While he was being Purged by the Building, I started a Species Modification project.

5. He died before I could finish the project.

6. The Species Modification project is now listed as "completed", and I can't clear it or get rid of it at all.

7. I can no longer modify any species.

Okay. How exactly do I do that?

(Also, my game has a lot of other Mods running alongside HFE, but I isolated them and figured out that HFE caused it.)

Having looked into it further, I think it may actually just be something I did when I accidently disabling a broken Mod that quadrupled Influence costs. I'll see if I can reproduce it in the next new game that I play.
Not sure if this is a bug or not but the pirate ships used by pirate empires {Not Marauders} are MASSIVE! I've seen a corvette the size of a battleship. Is this just an intentional rescaling, or is this a bug?

Looks like a lot of fun. Tried out the 'Exodus' civic. A few issues:

Zero support cost for craft, zero resource cost to build more or upgrade. Means I soon have infinite fleet. The cost is displayed but no minerals are deducted.

Claiming a nearby alien empire's space, including planets, still doesn't let me declare war. The 'Conquer(Claim)' is greyed out even when I have claims on every single scrap they hold and also have a starbase bordering their territory. And have declared them a rival. No war!

Then I lucked into the 'Mardak Vol' event. Oh hey, I have this huge fleet and there is a Gaia planet with a few ready-made serfs waiting for their betters. After a glorious battle I sent my small cadre of ground troops down and claimed it. But... it would not claim, only 'occupy'

So I can't claim a new world from the enemy by force of arms, and I can't elevate a new world from the benighted backward natives. Seems I am stuck wandering until I find a patch of dirt to dig in. Hardly the grand beginning due my noble warrior race. Sigh.


(Slinking back in to edit.... looks like 'Passive Study' was on by default. Still did not fix. )

Ships uses vanilla size. You probably have mods.

First works then someone buy pop from pirate, can you check game.log at same time and look wha is it? May be it help.

Second fire then someone disable starbase, probably error fired couz someone destroy starbase (for example crisis faction).

I have never looked in the Game Log before, only the Error Log.
