You can use ferroverium ore to craft high-level Allosteel variants, which are the metal bars used by the Aegi. You need ferroverium for the tier 5 and 6 materials specifically. Other races can also craft ferroverium if you obtain an Alliance Crafting Guide, which grants you access to almost all of the Aeginian crafting recipes.

Where do you acquire said ferroverium? I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find any. I had assumed that “Ferro” meant it could be found somewhere that had high levels of magnetism
Scince “ferro” relates to magnets but there are no vanilla magnetic planets.

Plz help.

You can find Ferroverium anywhere you can find vanilla tier 5 and 6 ores (those being aegisalt, ferozium, violium and solarium). Head to high level planets and you should find the ore in similar quantities as the vanilla ores.

The name ferroverium is actually derived from the fact that ferroverium, in the Elithian Alliance lore, is iron (ferro-) enhanced by extra-dimensional particles called hyverium (-verium).

wait so i guess ferroverium doesn't show up on more planet info's ore scanners, probably something that might need fixing.

Thanks tho!

Yeah, it sadly doesn't show up on the planet info. I'll be looking into ways of fixing that soon, but I have to be careful with the implementation of such a fix as Frackin' Universe already makes extensive changes to that part of the GUI. Making changes of my own could cause issues with FU compatibility, which would turn quite a few people away from Elithian Races... The fix may end up being in the form of an optional patch downloaded as a separate mod, but I need to do some testing before I can be sure!

What a pain it must be to always have to take Frackin' Universe into account when developing every aspect of your mod. I have nothing against the mod or people who enjoy it, but its effect on other modders' work (basically, the need to be compatible with a megamod) is unfortunate.

That said, the modders in charge of FU's development have been accused of using/altering other modders' content without permission; Gay Monster Dad (creator of many fine mods) is one of the accusers, and seems pretty credible. That's also unfortunate.

Changing tack, I noticed in the latest Elithian Races GitHub update that several bits of my feedback were reflected in the changes you made. Pretty cool, and I'm very glad to have been able to submit useful feedback.
