The biomes that these creatures spawn in, the one with the quicksand, i cant find that minibiome, does its spawn rate intersect with frakin universe?

Yeah, using Frackin' Universe will reduce your chances of finding a Desert Wetlands sub-biome by quite a bit. You'll still be able to find them, as the mods don't overwrite each other, but they'll be a lot less common with FU installed.
