Quite disappointing answer here from the LW2 devs. Reminds me at an "1.April's fool joke". We really should expect that an official mod like LW2 supports all official DLC's out of the box from the release start on.
I will certainly NOT buy the new "Chosen DLC" before LW2 gets updated properly. This is really disappointing from Fireaxis, letting all its loyal customers down who supported them from the start.
Official mod? What are you even going on about. LW2 devs are free to do as they want. Be greatful that they are donating their time to make your game enjoyable.
So maybe ease off that whole "letting us down" pedal there. LW2 will probably get a WotC-compatible version before the other major overhaul mods like Spectrum.
That said, if they have no official comment, it could easily mean that they're in discussions (internally or with Firaxis) and not allowed to say anything yet. I find it less likely that Pavonis, who was given early access to the game, is just getting the cold shoulder after such a major release. With the ideas taken from LW and put ingame, that would be really bad publicity.
