What's going on?
I stopped playing XCOM for a few weeks and now there seems to have been some major update that severely messed up the game. I can't be certain these are due to LW2 since I have a number of other mods, but unless one of them suddenly extended far beyond its original scope, LW2 is the only likely candidate. I've noticed the following changes:

1. Psi operatives are now totally overpowered. Insanity has a 0 turn cooldown and costs only one action, so I can mind control/panic/disorient one enemy per turn and still shoot.
2. There are now 2 different solace skills. One that is automatic (the old one) and one that is activated.
3. One of my soldiers has the skill that makes Fortress extend to all units in a radius, but no longer has Fortress himself.
4. Lots of skills got moved around, leaving some of my soldiers with pretty goofy configurations.
5. Shieldbearer shields stick around on corpses forever.
6. Some loot never expires
7. The game sometimes switches to the desktop, as if I had pressed alt+tab. I have no idea if this is LW2 related or caused by something else, but it never used to happen, and I haven't noticed it happening with any other programs or games.
8. I also seem to get shot a lot more, but I don't know if that's due to entering a new bracket in enemy levels, dark events, bad luck, or a boost to their aim from the patch.
9. Mission timers are a lot longer. I've had missions with 22 turns.
10. I no longer seem to have any primary mission objectives, and I don't remember what they were a few weeks ago.

Edit:
10. I checked the objectives in the Commander's tab, and all of them are completed, so I guess my game is ruined.
11. Snipers can use Precision Shot after using one action, without Snapshot.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Any Psi Operative mods I think are conflicting. I've noticed many of the same things. Never seen the Loot, Shieldbearer or Fortress probs though. Sometimes when training a Psi, I see two of the same skills listed and one of them has a messed up name. Most likely meaning there's a conflict with any other Psi mods. Whenever xcom gets updated, all saved games seem to get screwed somehow. Bizzare that one of the most intersting games ever made..is also the worst optimized game in the history of gaming. Sounds like you have a mod called 'Timer Tweaks' which added 4 turns to the clock. Try disabling it as I think the LW" timers have been increased without it. Also mods like 'An Easier War :Timers' probably doesn't help

I don't have any mods that affect mission timers or Psi soldiers. Most of my mods add extra map elements, character customization options, enemies or gear. The most ambitious mods, aside from LW2, are Grimy's Loot Mod, EXALT: back in action, and Celatids, plus their respective prerrequisites. Like I said in the initial post, unless one of these has suddenly gone far beyond its initial scope, LW2 is the only candidate for most of the issues I enumerated. I also added point 11 to the original post.

I noticed for at least the Assault & Sharpshooter that the skills were changed. Am I correct or just crazy?

I have around 50 soldiers, so I don't remember what skills they had before, but I'm certain that Sharpshooters, Specialists and Psis have had their skill trees switched around.

Look at the 1.3 release notes for LW2. They changed skills for every class (I think) except Technical. Nerfed some stuff, changed some stuff. I started my campaign after 1.3 so I have no experience with existing saves.
