I'm guessing if you played a new game with the mod installed, the changes have already happened and thus you'd never complain of "changing skin colors". Since the default human pawn color as I'd call it wouldn't have ever been seen by you.
I wonder if you could sample the skin colors of pawns who have to be converted before the mod is installed and apply the skin color to the new "Humanoid Races version" of that pawn.
1. if you add alien races to a save file that without alien races, it will randomize skin colors for your colonists
2. the mod removes the faction skin color mechanic from vanilla, where tribals are more likely to have pawns with dark colored skin
3. the mod alters drawing mechanism for pawns that transforms normal pink-ish skin color from vanilla into pale white vampire
The author knows about all three issues, from me and considers them to be features, not bugs (in fact, he considers all three to be the same issue - I made a post earlier about pale white skin color and it was removed because apparently it was a duplicate of this topic somehow).
3rd is also plain not true, but well.
I also don't know about these issues from you, I was aware when I coded them in.
The people in this thread are also already aware.
I can see how porting over to 1.1 probably muddles this up a bit, but the old versions on the Github had a version for 1.0 that worked perfectly. I wouldn't normally be so consistent about messaging but this mod is a dependency on things like Android tiers and other race mods, so its hard to ignore. Again, thanks for your time.
