Regarding mod conflicts, please check another discussion I started dedicated to it. I'll post all reported conflicts in there.
When and if you only experience a crash on game load, here's the fix to this. Download the PREVIOUS VERSION and resume your game offline. Desummon your warbound then play again with the new version.
Here's the steps:
1. Download the file (see address link below)
2. Remove the latest version from C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Runic Games\Torchlight 2\mods\humans_as_pets2
3. Place the previous version inside "mods" folder
4. Go offline with Steam then resume your save game (the one that crashed)
5. Desummon your warbound then quit game
6. Go online, install the latest version again and enjoy its new features! :).

To make the render view more workable for the mod, I made the warbound's inventory menu into a higher priority than the pet's and player's. If I don't do this, the render view will always be shared by warbound and pet or warbound and player. On first view, the game still thinks that its only for the pet and player but after it reads from Pet to Warbound panel. The game will see that these are different characters/units.
To make it short, if you are bothered by this graphical issue, please make it a habit to open Pet Inventory first before going to Warbound Inventory. This issue only happens at first view of inventory, on each start of your game load.
EDIT: I can't figure out what the problem is. Even if I load just this mod alone there are times where the panel doesn't show up, the hero shows up with the pet and their items are mixed.
Like this:
Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds (Top)
Void Pack A (Next to top)
Void Pack B (Always next to Pack A)
other mods you like to add (Below Pack B)
SynergiesMOD (Bottom)
On that map those issues show up, with both the warbound and pet mixing, but when I get to the city everything gets fixed automatically.
Only issue I seem to have is that when outside the city I lose access to the panel though.
The reason behind this is hardcoded into the game, the game lets a render view for the player and pet only. So to manage a render view for our warbound, we must borrow the pet's view but I made my warbound's panel higher priority than the pet's. So after you have seen the pet's inventory, the game will know that it is a lower priority than the warbound's inventory.
Can you explain a bit more about losing access to warbound's panel? I want to recreate the scene and issue you were having. I'm not that familiar with the world of SynergiesMOD.
Was my mistake assuming things and not testing properly. Sorry
I don't suppose being troubled by the issue is the only experience you can share, I hope you are enjoying too. :)
because they're covered by the panels.
When playing with friends the NPC panel stays on top of my friend, so I can't tell what map they are, or their health.
@Wolfy I'm expecting a layout overlap when in multiplay but I have never tried a multiplay before, so thank you for affirming my speculation, I'll find away to make it workable and thank you for suggesting it to move the hud beside the pet's because I think we can manage that.
