Thanks for being so responsive to comments. I have two questions/feature requests (or if you could help me edit the mod myself that would be great).

1) I have noticed things like the ceiling fans can be placed outside where there is no roof.
Is there a way to prevent them from being placed in unroofed areas? I suppose that Sprinklers and irrigation sprinklers are also supposed to ceiling mounted. Can the same be done for these?

2) Could a mod option be added to disable research and building of specific non-hygiene related items (like a sprinklers or AC, or the kitchen sink since there is a compatible vanilla expanded sink already)?

hmm ceiling fans shouldn't be able to be built anywhere, i guess i killed the placeworker trying to fix something else, irrigation sprinklers should be on the ground, fire sprinklers are just wherever you want to imagine them, and you can disable specific buildings in the scenario editor, or get mods that let you disable specific buildings, and i'm adding the option to disable buildings in a future mint menus update

Perfect! Yes, the fire and irrigation sprinklers can be built on top of other objects, which is why I assumed they were supposed to be ceiling mounted. Perhaps that is a bug too.

Are the fire and irrigation sprinklers supposed to be place-able on top of other items?

Yeah, it's kinda weird that I have a plant growing inside of the sprayer that isn't a weed
