Dubs Bad Hygiene
Prisoner toilet?
I love this mod but I have a few problems with my prisoners and toilets.

The toilet changes the prison cell to an awful room (you can't build a different room in the cell, because the doors are closed for prisoners).

Another problem is that all my colonists use the toilet in the toilet in the cells too :( .

It would be nice to have an option like "toilet for prisoners" or something.
Or did i miss something?

it should already restrict toilets to prisoners only when they are in a prison cell

Is there a way to make the loos designatable 'for prisoners' the same way beds can be?

Fun suggestion. There's a prison labor mod - this'll fix your issue pretty grandly.

I've tried it, but while I can get prisoners to work, they still aren't leaving their cells or using the bathrooms provided.

you can make a seperate room and have a door left to 'keep open' to circumvent your issue, though it's not a real fix.
you just need to manually run one of your pawns through the door to open it.

I am also having this problem. Prisoners refuse to wash or use the bathrooms and Im not really sure why.

if its all plumbed and you have sewage and water capacity then not sure, maybe prisoner ai tree is being changed by another mod?

My Friends just another lil question please:

The first toilet, the latrine, which one have no need for water. Does this toilet generate waste, i used this one for almost the whole time in my game and i was wondering that i never had to clean the waste.

Do I have to do that somehow manually or what?
(So when i never clean it, will it increase the chance that random colonists getting sick then?)
I feel stupid, I forgot to set up sewage for the prisoner bathroom. I bet that's my issue. Let me check real quick to confirm.

If it /isn't/ the issue, then it might be a mod. I have Prison Extensions and Prisoner Labor, so either of those could be affecting prisoner AI and messing up their behavior. But I suspect it was just me being dumb and forgetting to set up sewage, oops!

EDIT: Yep, Im just dumb! Mod's working fine, it's my brain that has the bugs!

the latrine just dumps sewage directly to the maps sewage grid right now, so it cleans up over time on its own, i did that because i wanted to remove the burn barrel system for now, i'll be replacing it all with some other kind of sewage dumping system later, if enough people use the latrine then it will get very messy and you will be spreading raw sewage around on their feet and getting diseaases so just make sure that if you dont plumb them you leave them outside and spread around and move them every now and then so the sewage cant build up too much

Thank you so much for the help and your great mod good Sir =)

EDIT: How does it work, in the basic game diseases are just random events, does the sewage increase the chance to trigger an disease event ?

Unfortunately, this doesn't work either; I'll have prisoners who are 'bursting' but won't use the latrine provided. I've tried unlocking the door (Locks mod), I've tried holding it open, I've tried using cell doors from the Prison Extensions mod, all to no avail. :(

cleanliness and infections right now, diseases like cholera are triggered by the whole water supply being contaminated
