I was wondering if anyone tried using the 5x balance mod with custom map mods from other developers. Like has anyone played the extreme galaxy mod while having the 5x mod turned on as well? I am asking because I did this ....and I'm not entierly sure if it happened using the extreme galaxy mod but at some point the tech tree became disabled after reaching a certain tier and everything became locked. The second time I saw it happen directly is when I played a normal un-modded galaxy map game with also the 5x mod disabled and then all of a sudden the mods became enabled again at some point (because the developer updated). The normal tech tree changed to the 5x mod tree and very quickly all the tech branches became locked and no more progress could be made.

Has anyone experienced any of these scenarios before?
