My husband and I tried to play the game multiplayer and it started the game with the gui, but with a black background. The GUI wouldn't work when clicked on. We had to crash the game to get out of it. Anyone else experience this?

I don't think the mod could be causing this. Hopefully your issue will be fixed in the upcoming stability patch.

There is problem with custom race creation. If you pick omniscient perk it does not work either with cheat for points or without it. I tried a game with elarian base race and it worked.

That's a problem with the base game, not the mod, and omniscient is not the only trait affected. The developers should be releasing a hotfix to fix the issue in the next day or two.

Arter patch 55.1 production perk +50% don't give in game bonus. Research perk give bonus correctly. In vanilla version both perks is ok.

I am playing with the trilarians, and I have discovered that the uber planet (coral) does not display the biome icons correctly. http://i68.tinypic.com/jl2h40.jpg

@gerrmuller It's because in the mod that custom race trait has subtraits. Any custom race trait with subtraits, whether with the mod or without, is currently broken. The developer hotfix coming soon will fix that.

@Mursilis I'm aware of this issue. Those display icons are hard-coded for each of the original biomes, and it is impossible to get them to display for new biomes added by modding. This affects all uber biomes and the new Orion biome. I asked the developers to fix it in the recent patch, and they did take a look at it, but the code for it is a bit of a mess, and they didn't have time to fix it.

It's a display issue only, so I'm not too worried about it. If the devs ever do another patch, I may be able to get this fixed. Otherwise WhatIsSol can probably fix it in his unofficial patch.

@Spud Dastardly, but as i said in vanilla 55.1 without mod, production perk correctly applied. It breaks when i activate mod. And research perk applied correctly both in vanilla 55.1 and with mod.

@Mursilis I wouldn't use WhatIsSol's mod until he updates it for the new patch.

@gerrmuller In vanilla, the production perk does not have any subtraits. In the mod, it does; namely "+25% production" actually has the real +25% production trait as one subtrait and the toxic condenser trait as another. If you look carefully, you'll see that they are displayed differently in the mod vs in vanilla:

As I said anything with subtraits, whether in the mod or not, is affected by the bug. The research perk does not have any subtraits in the mod or in vanilla.

I'm told that the hotfix had to be delayed because it was discovered that tactical battles were sometimes freezing. They're going to fix that before putting it out.
