V1.5 New ini value "TimeToPickUp"
V1.5 NEW optional Ini Entry "TimeToPickUp=" : Time to disable PickUp after n seconds. This is only true for structures which can't be picked up normally.
Example: TimeToPickUp=3600 means the pickup is valid for one hour.
Structure which own the pickup abilty can be picked up as usual (like a chair).

Are we able to disable this new value so items can be picked up indefinitely as before? Perhaps using a negative value like -1, or do we need to make the value a ridiculously high number?

no. not setting it doesn't use it. Only if you set it with a higher value than 0 enables it.

Can't seem to get the timer to work. Is it in gameusersettings.ini or game.ini?

Thanks. Seems I found the issue. The helmet overrides the S+ configuration I had to not be able to pick them upp so the timers dont work on them. Was worth a shot though.

Does setting this number absurdly high have any affect on server performance that you know of?

No, it should not. But why do you set it so high? It is an optional entry ( see mod description)

I wanted the pickup to be available always but on the main page I see that it says "0 to disable timer". I set it to 0 and it seems to work always, even on structures that had passed the 1 hour mark prior.

simply remove the "TimeToPickUp=" line from your ini and you are fine.

@grebog because they are all optional .ini settings does that mean even with the mod installed we should *not* see a bracketed [Builders Helmet] section in our gameusersettings.ini *unless* we've added it manually (i.e. the mod doesn't force populate those things into the text file)?

Trying to work some #NoCollisionMagic with ADV Thatch mod to make a sabertooth salmon corral across a tidal inlet =)

the optional ini entries have to be entered manually. they should not be automatically created by the mod.

@grebog! Perfect, that's what I was starting to think. I will proceed with creating the declarations in the ini then. Thank you very much. We're enjoying this mod, it's so much easier than all the other mods I've found to work the frustrating aspects of the game's building mechanics. Thank you!
