QualityBuilder
Set default quality?
Is there a way I can set the baseline quality of every planned object?
I'd really rather not have to left click, right click then left click for each object.

Agreed. I'm starting with a primitive tribe so I'd like to just work with Shoddy for now. It's also unclear what the current default is. So, for now, I've just been turnging QualityBuild off.

In fact, my use case is mostly that I want QB only rarely, after I've gotten my base established. So I'd actually like a setting to turn QB off by default and I'll turn it on when I want it. :bigups:

Just adding a default quality setting should solve your problem. In the beginning, you can just build stuff with the setting being on "shoddy" or "poor" (everything better than that will not be deconstructed) and later you could change the setting.

If there was said setting. :D

Currently the "default" quality is ALWAYS awful. It will just be build by the best constructor if the building is enabled for qualitybuilder.

I will add a setable default quality if i have more time IRL. This will just be a bit more complex, cause you want different quality settings for each map ( and save of course ).
I also want to add some more stuff.

Take your time, we just brought an idea/request/suggestion, I think. Thanks for the plugin and work generally. ;)

Great, I won't bother with toggleing it off then. I was partially worried that setting it too low would cuase that status to happen more often, or to have someone break a good bed and remake a terrible one, but I don't think that's the case. It's Awful+.

No. It's setting the minimum quality. Better beds stay there. (A max quality setting might be interesting for people that like challenges. :D)

Sorry to necro this, but has anything come from the default thing or has not enough time been found?

Within the last week I checked Mod Settings, found "QualityBuilder" as a button, clicked it and it was empty. :)

Ah, oh well, I can continue to do it manually, it's not too much trouble

Can you add an option in the options menu to turn it off by default?

Looking forward to this addition to your mod! :D Keep up the great work!

So... Is it possible to actually set the minimum now? I honestly have absolutely no idea how to set the minimum. Been trying many things and just can't figure it out? Is it actually implemented yet?

Nope

I like how people keep asking the same question about once a month. :D

Well, a lot can change in a month =P

EDIT: Although saying that, I'm more asking because the OP's question indicates that "left click, right click, left click" would in fact let me pick a minimum for a single object. I don't have that at all. It won't let me pick any minimum for anything.

EDIT EDIT: Ok, I JUST found it. Found it by mistake while I was using a select all feature, so just changed all the beds I was about to build (16 total) to do this at the same time. Ah, much better
