Injured Guests Stuck
I recently started playing again after a couple months off and in my new game, I've noticed that if a guest requires rescue, they won't leave when they're healthy again. Their group usually leaves before they can walk again, and now they wander around, having mental breaks because they're out of food and eventually starve to death. They used to leave and I'd get credit for having rescued them. Nothing happens when I click send away and I can't figure out what to do with them. Could this be related to any recent tweaks? Any suggestions for how to get rid of them other than waiting for them to starve? I don't mind using dev mode to fix a glitch but couldn't find anything that seemed like it would work.

As a quick fix you can just despawn / remove them. I think it's called Destroy.
It could be a genuine bug, but also a conflict with another mod.

You can better use "Pass to world". I found the issue and it will be resolved with the next update.

Thank you so much for troubleshooting this issue, Orion! I've had it happen both with guests that need rescuing (knocked down from fistfight within their own faction) AND people in traveling caravans; the solution I found was to take them prisoner after they started beating up my animals, then taking them on caravan back to their faction and giving them back among other gifts. Not the best solution, but one I found that would keep them from needing a series of rescue->wander aimlessly->go berserk from lack of joy/food->smackdown->rescue.

Hey, that's a clever solution. I never tried that. You might be able to send them via launch pod too then.

I usually don't bother with launch pods, since I can't figure out how to aim them. I also look to make sure I plant myself near friendly factions, so it's usually a short trip. The gift bonus usually gets me back into Neutral graces with the upset faction!

I like to hang out near friendly factions so that I have more caravan opportunities. I just wonder why the rescued guests are getting stuck and don't go home on their own. I hope it's an easy bug to fix--if it's a bug.

Thank you so much for finding the hiccup so quickly. For now I've found a save and reload kicks the 'stuck' issue.

Having this too, even with the August update. I've been putting problem guest pawns into ancient cryptosleep caskets, but pod launching them home seems less ongoing effort, tho might require arresting first.

I'm unable to interact with them at all really after they're stuck. Can attack them but that's it. I tried the "Pass to world" solution but it seems the game thinks they're still in my colony. With no guests, I can't call on military aid from allies because "hostile visitors present." Also if you pass one guest to world, the others won't be able to leave because they'll wait by the edge of the map for the absent one to show up.

Is there a way to correct it so the game doesn't think there's still someone around? Perhaps in dev mode??

What you're describing is a different issue. It's probably too late (the moment they broke has already passed) but could you send a full log (Ctrl-f12)?
You can remove them by editing your savegame, but it's a bit tricky.

I could reproduce the left over visitor issue. Should be fixed in the next update (*knock on wood*).

Also I'm not sure if it's related, but this only happened after I deleted the visitors, but I'm unable to leave in a caravan now. Colonists just wander aimlessly.
