Updates!
Update 12-2-17

This version includes no new scenarios, but a lot of changes and bugfixes.

Civilopedia for units is completely new overworked. Now you can see
the detailed conditions for every unit and project. Worth a visit!

Earthmap: The movement of landunits and range of airunits were reduced
to make it more realistic. However the disadvantage is, that some promotions
now make no sense - e.g. double attack for units with only 1 movement, like
infantry, field guns or howitzers.

We added the possibility for seasons on Earth map and Euro 1940 map.
This means wintertime between October and March on the Nothern part
of these maps. Winter affects production and movement, sea movement
is influenced by ice tiles on the sea. Unfortunately you have to reload your
game to see the graphical change to winter- there is no other way. Therefore we made winter time
optional.

Each major nation except Greece has two special treats now.

Germany - Blitz promotion applies to German tanks. Material production is doubled in German cities
Italy - All sea units get the supply promotion & all land units get desert fox promotion
Japan - Infantry never retreat & wounded units fight with full strength
UK - Defense promotion & all sea units get + 1 movement
France - Partisans & French colonies become normal cities in wartime
USSR - Recruiting is doubled in Soviet cities & all land units get winter equipment promotion
USA - Map factory production is doubled & oil production is doubled in wartime
China - Less experience promotion & infantry costs are halved for building and reinforcement

The economy was overworked and allows more wargaming now.

Several bugfixes solved - however the "carrier/plane-bug" remains unsolved.

AA-Guns reintegrated in the game, cause they are to important in the early war.

Added missing icons to the game.

it says you need a military base, but can it be any city or does it need to be Vienna (for example in ''operation 25'')

Ah yes I should clarify - to build the operation you need a military base like how you need a land factory to build a tank. In other words, any city with a military base can build the operation.

This seems amazing. The new operations are extraordinary. Can`t wait to try them.

Also, why in some cities you can build just Air Factories and no Land Factories? Is this on pourpouse because of historical significance?

And i remember that when you play with Italy it was very difficult to get oil for your navy. I hope you could fix this.

Hey Nico. Thank you! It's always nice to hear our work is appreciated. I'll make sure to pass this on to our main programmer Urzahil.

I'm somwhat confused - is your question about air factories and land factories something you have specifically or are you referencing the last line of the update post vis a vis specialization factories? In there, I meant that one can choose any specialization factory, land, the air ones, or seaport. If, however, this is something you have seen can you provide screenshots and detailed information? This will help us in fixing such an issue.

As for the Italian Navy, we are working hard on balancing every nation so that they can be fun to play while allowing for some historical accuracy. Oil currently is a major issue for the Axis powers but this is true to history - the Axis had to conquer rich nations early in the war. I suggest focusing on the Balkans and North Africa for oil. If, however, you find yourself running out of oil frequently with still a small navy please provide screenshots and detailed information so that we can work on balancing this.

@bacononaboat I can`t remember well because it`s been a long time since the last time i played. But i think that in some italian cities you were able just to build planes or just land units. I thought this was on pourpouse because i know that in war some nations give each city a specific role to achieve. But don´t worry, if i see this again i will send you some screenshots, after all, it wasn´t a big mistake that bothered me.

As you can imagine, the English isn´t my first lenguage, so I took my time to undestand the functioning of the resources in the game. I know that you have to do some limited attacks and some units are cheaper than others (this is why i love the game and the mod, it is strategy).
But i remember that with Italy i couldn´t discover a way to get oil, i just had a deficit of this resource until one of my ships "die". But i know that this can be fixed so, it is not big deal.

I wait anxiously the updates.

@nicogambini8 Well I don't think I've ever played as Italy so I look forward to seeing what you find. I think in the time since you've played we've solved part of Italy's oil problem via convoys and some oil in North Africa - we'll see! :)

If Germany captures Paris and you have "Scripted Events" enabled, Vichy France is in the game. Just in the Europe map at this point.
