can´t comment on that, it works fine but the bomber against cities is not the best as cities have a damage cap at one point

if u play the mod and use bombers on cities it wont work if u reload the save

Update on my last comment: IGE (cheat mod) can place workers but they can not do much hence pointless

For worker - you can work on the mod (I can´t) or use a cheat mod in addition (didn´t try so far)
For me, so far no freeze but the turns get longer and longer

I had such fond memories of this great mod. It keeps freezing on my when I'm centered over the Rhineland. Bummer.

been a really fun mod for years, but FUCK the TTK is so painfully long, i wouldnt mind a full 2/3 decrease in all units hp

Grand mod, though rife with problems in this iteration... I hope it's not fully abandoned. Current issues: No carriers... AI aircraft only attack cities or run intercept/air sweep missions. Left to their own devices, the Axis is to weak/stupid to achieve a win. I played as USA and stayed out of it even when I was declared war upon.... the Axis still lost... badly.

Need to fix:
Add carriers
Make the Axis more potent
Bomber aircraft, especially light bombers, should prioritize units instead of cities.

The link for the mod files doesn't work, and I can't download either of them. It makes me sad, because this is a great mod and it no longer works.

It worked! For some reason Gedemons faster aircraft animations doesn't work though. It worked in the original red ww2. Is it possible to add It? The game is close to unplayable without it in my opinion.

Why in directory of the mod locating 2 files called RED_WWII_BNW.Civ5Pkg and RED_WWII_GK.Civ5Pkg when developer saying what all dlc is not needed?

Don´t know if it is worked on but one thing is clear, carriers are not working for the AI. Someone once posted, a player could use but AI crackes up. But never tried it.

Hello everyone.

I'm playing the WW2 (1937) mod with the giant whole world map. But I'm having trouble with the 'turn waiting times'.. I takes minimum 1:30 minutes every time the AI is making moves, which is pretty frustrating.

Is there there a way to solve this? :)

The only sad about this Mod is: We want more Scenarios! Battle of Stalingrad was really cool, I wished something like "Fall Blau" "Operation Overlord" "Operation Zitadelle" and so on!

when I right click to move any unit civ5 stops responding and never recovers.

Please Make A 1945 Scenario for just Europe 1939-1945 Map. UK could step in for USA, as we don't need all that extra ocean. Either the same Europe 1939-1945 Map, or a New Map With a Even Larger Europe and Even More Cities Like In the Original R.E.D WW2 MOD. Particurlarly The Nordic Countries, The Balkans, Iberia and Africa. Would Make For A Much Better Game If The Neutral States Was Actually Worth Something. More Playable Civs Would Also Be Greatly Appreciated. Especially Poland, Finland and Spain, Yugoslavia, Hungary and Sweden wouldn't Hurt Either.

I managed to mod faster aircraft animations into the base mod, as I had 0 experience with civ modding, so did not figure out, how can tell a mod, that it's authorized. And it worked, so at least there are no technical issues with utilizing the feature

Is there any way to disable the intro? I'm trying to set up a game via GMR but it causes the intro to be set as the host nation.

In the future, would it be possible to make the global map but with a 1939 start date? I bring it up because playing anything other than japan and china it is a big "click next turn" slog to get to do anything for all the other factions.

Resolved it, just deleted all the game files manually and reinstalled

Having a weird issue where the entire map is black - game loads in fine, the unit names, city icons, HUD, etc. etc. are all there just the terrain and any actual 3d models are completely nonexistant. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way we can get a unit list, along with requirements for each one?
I have been playing on the world map as Germany and use the alternate history. It is more fun that way for me. But I have not gotten a lot of the units like the Tiger which came in after the fall of Poland.
