When reinstalling one of the storages, especially the clothing rack, but others also do this, the items drop on the floor keeping the default stack sizes (as if you had 2X in a container, where X is the stack size, two stacks will be dropped, 3X - three, etc.).

But this is hardly the problem. The case is that the items are placed in walls effectively destroying them.
