Hunger enabled during missions - a mistake?
I recently started up a new FU game and played through the first SAIL mission in the mine. I was a bit surprised to see hunger ticking down, as typically hunger is disabled during missions.

It was done that way because you aren't allowed to build even a simple campfire to cook during those missions, and because food carried around decays rather quickly, along with a fairly aggressive hunger meter counting down.

I can understand some of the more hardcore Starbound fans wanting a more challenging survival experience, but during my mission I literally had to toggle on /admin several times in order to stave off starvation - there simply was no other option. I of course brought a small food supply, but being in a new game I'd have had to bring almost all my food and end up eating it raw just to make it through this one area.

Any chance Sayter or someone else could comment on this? It seems like a bit of an oversight, or at least a controversial aspect of the mod and missions.

Are you seriously complaining about this ? Please don't waste peoples time or yours by writing this spoiled brat nonsense. Just carry some food around like any other player in the game , whats the big problem ? Is the inventory menu is disabled during that mission that you cant quickly eat something ? You really a whimp !

What he said. Carry food. Problem solved. There is absolutely nothing that is concerning here. Hunger is a mechanic in the game, so simply prepare for it.
