Questions about Bees and what they can supply
So, it I have many questions about bees. I am a very curious person. But I am also a person who gets frustrated when I look up information on said subject and can't find anything on it. So hence this forum discussion. I figured maybe I'm not the only one out there with questions about bees and what they make and how they make them. You can post questions and hopefully someone who actually knows answers will respond. At least that's what I'm hoping is going to happen. Let's help each other on this journey of this beautiful mod. So I don't kill all the bees because I can't find out where bee silk comes from. (that's my first question if someone can help.)

I can write up some of my findings for you later, but to answer your question- Bee silk appears rarely in apiaries along side honeycombs. :3

Thank you. I was wondering because no one anywhere had anything to say about this. I feel like updating the wiki sometimes but I don't make it look nice enough. But thank you.

http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Bees:_Basics Has most of it.
Updates lately added the Bee Silk and Durasteel Honeycombs.

Bee Flowers (from Floral Bees) are the best flowers for bee production. They take the same space as three normal flowers but seem to be more efficient. If you don't have Bee Flowers, any flower will do. I've been able to have decent production with the setup below:

You need a considerable amount of flowers to get a "noticeable" amount of a boost to honeycomb production.

To process honeycombs you can either use one of the honeycomb centrifuges (industrial hooked up to a honey jarrer is best for this) or use an FU Extractor. The materials you get vary based on the method of processing you use. If you don't need honey, using metal honeycombs (tungsten, durasteel, precious, etc.), fuel, or Mythical with the FU extractor nets the most resources. While using normal or godly honeycombs in the centrifuge will net the best balance of honey and items.

You can also use jarred honey as an extra form of healing or create honeystraws at a Honeytable.

If you have any questions, let me know. ^.^

How do you get golden glass blocks? I can't seem to figure it out. Maybe I'm just not experimenting enough.

Arid bees for golden sand, which you then turn into golden glass.

My forest bees are poppin out bee silk like crazy but I can't get a single dang stick of golden wood. Any ideas why this might be? I've had them running in all my apiaries for like two days non stop and not even one bit! The quest person told me it was forest bees...

Edit: Nevermind, I see now you have to centrifuge the forest combs. Sheeze, I coulda sworn back before you didn't have to separate it out.
