Depends on what you are trying to do. Trying for Honey? Use a honey extractor with empty honey bottles. Trying to get items? Use a wooden, iron, or industrial centrifuge.

If you can make an industrial centrifuge then place a honey jarring machine attached to it (with bottles in it) and you can get both items and honey. (usually)

Specifically, for the record and all that:

The wooden or iron centrifuge will extract items from honeycombs, but discard the honey.
The honey extractor will extract the honey from honeycombs (and put it in jars), but discard the items.
The Industrial Centrifuge, paired with the Honey Jarrer, will extract items AND honey. Place them next to each other, put empty jars in the Jarrer, and put the combs in the input slot of the Industrial Centrifuge.

Obviously, you want to get the Industrial Centrifuge and Honey Jarrer as soon as you possibly can. The others are just temporary stopgaps until you can construct these big guys.

By the way... to get liquid Pure Honey, put a honeycomb in your all-purpose generic FU Extraction Lab.

renbear, quick question- Any reason why metal honeycombs don't turn into regular honey or Godly honeycombs into Mythic honey since last update? (Using the industrial centrifuge)

Also, can't use the Tungsten honeycomb in the stock FU extractor. :/

Tungsten Honeycombs are new, and were probably not completely implemented. I'll make sure a ticket is created for that.

Metal Honeycombs... Hmm, that might be even newer than Tungsten, heh. I'll look into it. I don't know what the deal is with Godly combs. How long ago were they extracting into Mythic honey?

Wait, where are you getting "Metal Honeycombs"? They should be dropping red honeycombs.

They were giving regular honey up until the update a few days ago. The Godly was giving mythical honey.

so i have been trying to figure out what is wrong...i cant seem to get anything in the bee part of the mod to work. it labels the centrifuge and other items description as crafting stations. i watched a video done by a german guy so i did not understand him but it produces honey for him and items and it had differint wording on his centrifuge and other bee mod items. i even copied how he placed them in

• Honey extractor: put the combs in the upper slot and empty honey jars in the lower slot. You need three combs for each jar.
• Centrifuges: put the combs to be processed in the input slot.
• Honey jarrer: place it next to an industrial centrifuge and make sure that it has a stock of empty honey jars (which slot doesn't matter) before you put the combs into the centrifuge. Try to use a multiple of three combs unless you don't mind losing a little honey.

Ok, I have spent hours trying to find where you craft the industrial centrifuge. WHERE IS IT???
the wiki says powered station but it does not show up there

I have the same problem, I upgraded the Matter Assemblor to the max, and the Power Station too. I even have a Gas Centrifuge, but I can't compltete the quest for an Industrial Centrifuge :/

I have same troubles for finishing the quest. The industrial centrifuge do not show up. Even in the /admin command it wasnt there. At the end i was so frustrated i did use getitem command to get one for finishing the quest.
