New Materials? (Sigh)
So, I got things figured out mostly I think... I started a new character and worked my way up the tiers of batteries and I can't figure out how to get the Deuterium (2H) for the 8v Battery; why was this swapped around to this instead of what it was before and how do I make it?

I've been running every fuel rod type I can think of/have in inventory through the Quantum Extractor and have checked every crafting station I have and still haven't figured it out and it's getting on my last nerve.

Hey man, in the update notes there's a way to obtain it:

Added Deuterium - Obtainable in the advanced centrifuge via ordinary water. Used in several Quantum and high-end radiation-related recipes (primarily via nuclear core)

:)

Hmmm... Okay, I've run several thousand water through my centrifuge and haven't gotten anything by that name; maybe it wasn't since the patch went live.

Thanks for the info.

Now that I recall: I personally obtained it from the atmospheric condenser (really rare), still haven't tried water in the adv. centrifuge since the deuterium addition.

I grabbed a few thousand more water and run it through the machine - I got plenty of Deuterium when you told me how to acquire the stuff. Thanks again. :)

Drop onto water planet, collect tons of water, run water through extractor and adv. centrifuge... Profit? XD

AHAHAH Great, mate! Happy to see that you managed to get "some" deuterium, eheheh! :D

Yep. Just plop down a solar panel and an advanced centrifuge on an ocean planet and get ready to bale water into its mouth like it's DBZ Abridged Guru. Maybe put a teleporter down next to it so you can just beam back whenever you need more. And for your future reference, you'll rarely get some tritium from the atmospheric condenser, as well. Only means I'm currently aware of to recover the stuff aside from as a random byproduct of the fission reactor.
