it doesn't. It drops as a *ultra rare * weapon drop , and i wont say which loot list for a reason.
the recipe can only be obtained by playing through FU quests.
You told me to go through the Metaphysics research-tree and Kevin's quest's, I did that.
Then you told me there was another quest-line that I had to go through and the closed/locked my discussion.
Can you tell me what the quest's I have to compleate are? I really don't wanna go and get the Ancient Remote for nothing since I need to find the Transwarp Transmitter to get in to the mission witch can take forever sinse it's just luck if you manage to find Transwarp Transmitter and well... My luck is literally non existent.
By the way, I have Dark Obsession, Crystalline Perfection, A rare treasure, Ssad losst thingss and ... left to complete. Is it anyone of thoes?
Plz help meh...
The main reason the Atom Smasher is so difficult to obtain is that it's so ridiculously good at blowing holes in the landscape that you really should know your way around Starbound and FU before getting one for the first time. It's very easy to ruin your own base with it by mistake.
If you have already done all of Kevin's quests (and I mean *ALL* of them), check your Armory. The option to craft the Atom Smasher should already be present there. If it isn't, you either haven't done all of Kevin's quests - double-check your Tricorder menu (and visit Kevin at the Science Outpost), or have somehow managed to break something. Follow the instructions already given to you and the recipe unlock is impossible to miss.
The beauty of Kevin's questline is that without pressing for spoiler information you won't even realise when you unlock the crafting recipe until long after you've acquired the item that actually unlocks it (and does nothing else).
