Then prepare better. There are a couple ways to deal with it.

Find or craft some Darklight Flower. Its the most simple method

that effects the unbreachable darkness debuff too, not just the general darkening from insanity? so insanity augment would permanantly make those worlds light?

just got madness shield, very useful in it's own right, but does nothing for unbreachable darkness

The Darklight Flower also cures unbreachable darkness, not just insanity. I'd highly suggest getting some Darklight if you intend to go to lightless or other dark planets.

Insanity Shield does not protect against darkness. Darklight flower does. Which is why I specifically suggested it :)

oh...great to know, but the original question though was do any augments or epps negate it? ...or thinking about it, any armor sets either?

i think there are sme armour sets that can negate it, though not sure which ones and i don't think they are labeled with it

Thanks that answers the same question I had. I'm using Darklight Blossoms but they wear off rather quickly and in the middle of mining/fighting it becomes inconvenient to keep trying to eat one. I was looking for an EPP but if an armor will work then I'll try. Gotta collect them all anyway right?
