Chromatic dirt went dark
After I booted up my game today, the chromatic dirt that I was using to light up my base no longer gave off light. I've tried replacing it on several occasions and resetting the game, but for some reason, chromatic dirt no longer gives off light.

This was intended, as many players were using chromatic dirt to boost their solar farms.
So Sayter has removed the light mechanic from chromatic dirt.

Damn there goes my early game fuel, aww well... I have... other ways.

Its a shame as chromatic dirt was the only way to get solar panels to even work on ships!

Was fun for my starting BYOS to have a large mast with solar sails on it till I got a proper power source installed.

Dang, chromatic dirt was my go-to solution for most things, like for leaving breadcrumb trails underground. I guess it was a bit op how it was just free sunlight though :P.
