Hello, I am having some issues with Suez canal. I have a control of all the land around it as a Germany (whole Egypt and SInai) and no supply route goes there and all my warships go around the Afrika to get into the Red Sea. I have a possibility to destroy it, which I did and then I restored it, but to no avail. It is now restored after one year, but no ship goes through. Also, it is missing that waterway icon like the Dardanelles have.

Is anyone else facing this issue? Was any of you able to fix this by editing mod or game files? If yes, how exactly?
