Bug/Crash Reports
  1. Occassional crash to desktop = Fixed
  2. Crash when annexing Bulgaria = Fixed
  3. Claims Focuses not firing correct events = Fixed
  4. AI Invalid Move Commands = Suspect HoI4 bug
  5. GetNameDef Not Showing Modded Name = Fixed
  6. Smyrna still Izmir = Fixed

I did not crash when I did the Bulgaria event, but when they allowed themselves to be annexed all of their troops remained. There is no country of Bulgaria in the diplo menu, but they have like 10 divisions just standing where their borders were.

I also ad an odd issue where I loaded up my save just after annexing Turkey and all of my wargoals to retake anatolia turned back on even though I owned all of Anatolia.

Nothing gamebreaking, but it was odd to see it happen.

I love this mod and hope you continue to support it.

Hehe... That's what I get for staying up too late to get an update out, lol. I rewrote the claim events and updated the english localization but forgot to update the focuses for what events they were firing. Sorry. Should be fixed shortly.

As far as the bulgaria event not trasnfering troops that should have been fixed last night. Did that happen after the update last night? Was it in a new game or saved game?

Anyone have regular crashes when playing this mod? Its been stable for me, when I have the annex events written correctly that is.

It happened around 2130-2230 EST on the 17th. I think that would have been 2 updates ago from looking at the change log. I'll start another game and see if it has been fixed in the interim.

Found out tonight that hoi4 does not save the focus tree. So changes to it, or bad coding like when i had bulgaria annexing itself, my be bleeding through your saves and that might be where the instability is coming from.

If in doubt please save the campaign you are on and start a new one to see if the same issue is still there.

I'm frequently rewriting things and those code changes might be making saved games unstable.

I have my game crashing about a year or so into the game. No problems taking bulgaria. I also never got a response to the ultimatum sent to romania. was in the process of doing the focus "retake macedonia"

I found this when I was looking into my exceptions log.

This may be the culprit but I have to figure out where it is and what's triggering it.

I was using this mod for Let's play of mine, but unfortunately after version 1.1 rolled out the old saves can not be reloaded that were used with Byzantium itself. I can load other save games just fine, but not the one in which I played as Byzantium. I hope this can be fixed, would be waste of the YT Let's play :(

Were those saves from before June 21st? If they were then your saved game is nuked because the country tag was changed. If it was after then I'm not sure what's causing the problem. Perhaps you had some focuses picked that were changed that its trying to reference.

I think it was from just before yes as I recorded a bit... that is unfortunate. Is there anyway I can fix that? As a little side note I prefered the old fascist flag myself over the black one.

The country tag was BYZ but there are a few places you would have to swith GRE back to BYZ. Also the focus tree has changed a lot so that might cause instability if you have things unlocked which have moved.

I don't mind testing that out for you (I had 13 episodes ready and on the shelf for Byzantium to be going up from next weekend onwards). Would be a waste if I had to cancel the series. Dare I ask where I have to switch back to BYZ? Like the files names, I will do this myself but I do not know in which folder to modify things.

Sorry but you would have to readd a country tag file for it, change the country files, go through all the events changing gre tags to byz. Not all byz though because some are part of file names. And some places I might be forgetting. And thats before you get into potential focus tree confilcts where you would have to rewrite the tree. Apologies, but changing back from an addition to a replacement was the best way I could come up with to ensure compatability with future patches and dlcs.

Hopefully this won't cause issues but since the 1.1.0 patch I've been getting this in error dawg.
AI tried to post an invalid command: move_ships
It wasn't happeing in 1.1.0 beta and looks like its happening whether you run mods or not. It hasn't caused crashing yet for me but those notifications start piling up. So I wouldn't be surprised if it starts adding instability or makes the naval ai act weird.
