Opinion needed: UI Changes
I am planning to change the UI like this:

One listbox for the target, instead of three one. Also, it is easier to expand (e.g. if I add the possibility to transfer to other ships - then i won't need another listbox)
Also, an switch to change, if it should transported to or from the target.

So, there is enough space to add another listbox for profiles. If choosen another profile, the target and from/to will change depending on the target.

Also, additional profiles will be addable per configuration module.

I like it, but I dont see what the profile list is for.

@Spatium: You can define different profiles for fast access or other situations.
e.g. you are alone at the ship but want to explore an planet, then you could set an timer which activates an emergency profile which beams you up after a while.
Or if you have another member: He just needs to sit on a terminal and press 1 to beam you down, and 2 to beam you up. He doesn't need to change the target or change the switch every time.

Or you are using the transport for fast travel between different stations and ships: You press a button on a button panel and you get transported.
Button 1 -> Orbital Station
Button 2 -> Planet Station
Button 3 -> Hangar Bay

Okay that makes sense. Perhaps add a way to name these profiles then?

The new UI would be really nice, I'd love to use multiple profiles.

The multi-profile option is nice, but all targets in a single listbox is a bit.. untidy?
It looks easier to choose the method of transportation and then have just a short list of available targets

Fiadra, there are only the targets in range. How many people and GPS locations are normally around you?
I think there aren't much.
But I could add either a listbox ( like the current one, where you can choose the method) or I add a few checkboxes to filter a certain type out. (E.g. checkbox "Filter GPS" removes all listed GPS coordinates - for better overview.
Or any other ideas?

Will this say what planet instead of just planet? The current range is high enough to be able to reach two.

@Spatium, I will take a closer look but last time I checked, I couldn't access the name of the planet via modding api.

The filter checkbox sounds awesome.
Since i usually mark ore ressources with GPS points, i always have a lot of them around me everywhere; a way to hide them in the Listbox when not needed is perfect

The filter checkboxes are currently not part of the online version, but also in the next version.
One question for all, especially native english speaker, how should i name them?

I don't like the description of "hide out of range targets"
I would prefer an identical prefixfor all checkboxes like "hide" or "show" so all checkboxes are similar. But just make suggestion, everything is better then "hide out of range targets".

Hide Beyond Range or Hide Far? I'm not an English speaker so there may be better alternatives.

Lots of options.

Hide Inaccessible.
Hide Unobtainable.
Hide Unreachable.
Hide Unachievable.

Just make sure this field ties back to your xml range since we don't all use the default 60km. :)

Poke me on steam if you want/need more verb-age variables.

Certainly target filtering would be awesome, perhaps also a function where the list shows all usable targets (in range: Bright white | out of range: Greyed out) by default, then simply a single checkbox for toggling show all or show ranged only.

I dont understand the profiles though... only toyed with the TPs for like 5min... havent been playing SE lately :| Are the profiles just like seperate lists of targets pre-filtering?
