F.A.Q.
Q: X class (vanilla or modded) is not showing up in this list of classes. What is causing the problem?

A: If a class still isn't showing up even with bUseNumInForcedDeck set to False, it can be added to the sForceIncludeClasses list to force it's inclusion. However, be warned that if that's the case the class probably isn't meant to be used that way and things might break if you do.

Q: X class (vanilla or modded) is showing up when it shouldn't be. What is causing the problem?

A: Set bUseNumInForcedDeck to True to revert to only showing classes that are available for GTS training. If set bUseNumInForcedDeck is set to the default False value, all classes that a rookie could become will show up, not just the ones available in the GTS.

Q: Why isn't there a random option?

A: The game's vanilla promotion option is the random option. Change bHideArmoryPromoteRookieButton and/or bDisableAfterActionPromoteRookieButton to false in the mod's ini file to enable the vanilla Promote button on the Armory and After Action screens respectively.

Q: Can I use this mod to change the class of soldiers that have already ranked up?

A: No, that's What the Change Class mod is for. Please see the Beta discussion thread for a download link. Both mods can be run together without conflict.

I have CC activated and am subscribed to it on Steam, but it's not showing up in game. suggestions on how to fix it?

I am also having this issue, I am subbed to it and have enabled in the mod menu, but it refuses to show up when I launch the game.

sorry it's finally easy to solve, you need to activate the mods :)
Right clic on Xcom2 in Steam > Properties > Workshop :)

It is, thats the issue im having. its enabled on everything i can enable it on and it doesnt show up when i go to start a new save in the advanced/second wave, nor when ii go to promote someone
