I like the idea of the Deep Space Station but ran into a lot of snags the first time I built one. They show up as unmovable ships with the "zzz" status since they are not docked at a starbase (obviously, as they *are* a starbase) thus cost more to maintain. They also have no way to be upgraded as they can't move to a spacedock for upgrades, thus sit with the upgrade arrow but won't upgrade. Lastly, as they are ships and not structures, they don't show up on the map with any sort of icon.

A great idea, but we should be able to upgrade them, have them in their own special category (like fleets, civilian ships, etc) and they should be seen somehow on the map, preferably not as a sleeping unit but as an active structure.
