Did you rollback Stellaris?
When rolling back to v3.3.4 via the Steam Library Beta Option, I start New Horizon and it keeps loading until 100% but then before entering the main menu it crashes.
This never happened to me before in the "old" v3.3.4.
Steam restart or file integrity check didn't help either.
Also, the ship design menu now contains, I assume, empty ship design slots for future yet to be discovered ships.
I'm getting into the main menu, but I have noticed a longer than normal time loading once reaching 100%, before entering the main screen...
Ensure you're not running any additional mods (which may have been updated to 3.4), and perhaps even try disabling the STNH menu sub-mods, and see if having only the STNH main mod active gets you into the main screen... If that works, it's possible one of the sub mods, or one of the extra mods you're running, is causing the issue...
Surprised it's even working at all considering STNH is still intended for 3.3.4... Most major game updates add so much additional content that STNH compatibility breaks irreparably until updated properly...
The problems here are clearly because you're running game version 3.4, but STNH is still intended for 3.3.4...
Well, I'm not blaming STNH developers at all. STNH was my reason to buy Stellaris in the first place and I just recently started playing it. And I'm having enormous amount of fun with it. Huge thank you to all developers.
I had no real issues playing STNH with v3.3.4 which is why I immediately tried the rollback from v3.4 into v.3.3.4. And I'm puzzled that I can't run the game as before after the rollback.
Update: Fixed. You were right. Thanks a lot.
The UI Overhaul Dynamic was updated/changed to v3.4 and caused the issue.
Rollback to v3.3.4 and deactivating it solved everything.
Yeah, the Dev team strongly recommend not running any additional non-STNH related mods with STNH for reasons like this...
Version mismatches can cause all sorts of general, and unexpected wierdness, even beyond crashes...
since a few big stellaris-updates its not been updated at the same day the update were released. the mod is hughe, so near impossible. on the next vanilla-update, just check if there was an update of the mod that made it playable on that version, if not, go back to previous version of vanilla.
Hm, I have the main mod files and two more loaded:
ST:New Horizons
ST:New Horizons Music
ST:New Horizons UI FEDERATION
/sigh
I'd almost guarantee you haven't rolled back your Stellaris installation to 3.3.4, have you?
And no, I have not activated any other mod. I even deactivated all mods from my nanderne playsets to be on the safe side, did repairs etc. but it just doesn't work.
