Form the United Federation of Planets Event discussion
Okay lets talk about this, best stratgies and what the plans for this going forward.

I just determined that the whole event can blow up in your face if you can't get a Coalition to form because you have a race that won't vote for it, and you can't kick them out.

Suggestions?

As for going forward, I like the idea of other races intergrating in after the UFP forms, just like they do in the real ST.

Thanks for this mod and this specific events, even with its faults.

Harel, thanks for the quick reply - do they always stay independant or can you get direct control ?

Always. Not having direct control is a design decision we made.

i am playing romulans on big milky way 1400 star. I have met andorians, vulcans and earth from big civs. But at some point they have surprisingly formed UFP, without any notification or so (maybe there was a standard federation notification which I ignored as many others standard notifications). So now in diplomacy screen i can still see vulcans and andorians, but it is stated that they have 0 planets and weak fleets. As I understood at the beggining they would go totally under controll of federation making it an UBER-AI. But from comments as I understand there are still 3 AIs who controll the fleets? And if neither vulcans nor andorians have planets, they shall never produce new ships?
And if say I would play for vulcans and accept Federation offer, would it be a gg for me cause for loosing the controll of planets and fleets?

Btw the mod is awsome! <3
Just would like to see a little tweak, were as a non federation member you would receive some special pop-up on UFP founding.)
