You can form the federation with just 3 founders and a random.

There's a bug (thats going to be fixed next release) that if you fail any storyline missions the federation doesn't form (with failing i mean not doing it) did you get 2 xindi probes attacking you? did mars rebel?

I have never even seen Mars rebel. But yes I have gone through and got hte 2 xindi probes.

going to start yet another new game to hope for the forming of the federation, once i have all the members in a coalision do i just wait and wait untill something happens? cheers.

resubscribed and deleted all content on mod but still no joy forming the federation....any ideas? Xindi event never goes beyond recruiting an admiral either. :(

you really need to do the special project after you have selected your admiral. i have tested all UE events and the federation formation and they work fine. it took me around 15 years to complete expanse and demons chains. after that if you have the founders in a coalition the federation will trigger within a year.

Such as events that need to come to pass or anything else as well as the exact amount of years required? I have not gotten the UFP to form even once and have since given up on the mod as it was anything but not disappointing.

Lol its startrek. Everyone wants to play the federation atleast once I mean the whole series IS about them. That being said for the purpose of giving you accurate bug reports a more detailed explination of what would need to be done to form the federation would be most welcome. Does the xindi event need to go exactly as it did in the tv show? is there another event that has to be done? Is this that event for the earth citizens being xenophobic? Is that the second event that needs to be completed?

i get the original 4 into a coalition and have kept playing for atleast ten more years in about 6-7 attempts with no luck lol. xindi event....i get the 1st probe attack, send science ship to check it out, then pick a corvette and hire an admiral. then nothing, again i give it years with both special event logs ticked. ill keep trying ofcorse lol.

@shags_v This is a dumb question probably but sense im having trouble too might as well help eachother out, but are you going into your situation log and continuing the mission? because after youg et the admiarl you have to send him to do somthing from your situation log (you might need to put him on a ship first) and then a bunch of popups will appear over some time eventually leading to another xindi probe attacking.

yea once ive allocated him a ship i then go to situation log and click 'research' i fills its loading bar untill done then does nothing. i have actully done the whole xindi event once before on my very 1st playthrough a week or 2 ago but its never worked since. im convinced that if i can get the xindi events to finish i will be able to finaly form the federation aswell. also ive never had mars rebel.

Theres another event where the people of earth start to act xenophobic to i think its the andorians. IF i am getting what the dev said right, you have to do that event too and once its complete then the federation will form if you get all 3 members plus a 4th to join the coalation.

You do have to finish the Xindi and Demon chains to get the Federation to work. Yes. We said so several times. Those quest chains have to be done prior to the federation. They trigger once a certain time has pass, and you have enough alien migrants on Earth.

For some reasons they tend to bug out on ocassion. We had several hot-fixes and they do work for us, all the time, consistently, as Shaggo said. Sadly, however, there is a tiny minority of players that this happen to them - a quest chain gets broken.

There is not much I can offer right now. You can wait until the next patch, which might resolve your issues. Another thing I can suggest, as we mention in the steam page, to completely un-install Stellaris, as well as all other mods, re-install the game, install JUST the mod, and try a new game.

No custom empires, no modifications, no old saves.

If that still does not help... sorry, this is the best we can do right now.
