Not sure if the "Extra Challenge Mode" is available for the mirror universe? Everytime when I try to play the Terran Empire I win easily. Maybe it would be a great idea to add it. Whant to get attacked on all fronts while playing the only true empire! Long live the Emperor!

Also an unique UI would be awesome.

For the normal Star trek universe the BORG are little bitOP. At around 2250 they smashed the Romulans and start attack the Federation... Even experienced players struggle to fight them back. Slowering the expansion of the Borg a bit would give AI and the Player better chance to prepare for this massive fight.

Ein paar mehr Events für die Borg wären super, ist leider etwas dünn, außer man will einfach alles erobern. Ebenso sollte man auf Planeten zumindest etwas Nahrung anbauen können für die nicht assimilierten Sklaven, auch wenn das wohl keine Auswirkung hat. Generell wäre es toll zumindest noch die übrigen Res abbauen zu können für den Markt ggf. auch da einfach zum handeln für Nahrung etc. Ggf. durch assimilieren der nötigen Tech.

Generell wäre es super, wenn man auch seine Species anpassen kann mit der passenden Tech und steigenden Eigenschaftspunkten. Borgtypisch wäre es, dass man sich die Eigenschaften erst freischalten muss durch das Assimilieren von Pops die die Eigenschaften mitbringen ins Kollektiv. So wird das Assimilieren weiter betont und wir Perfektionisten können die perfekten Drohen gestalten.

Allgemein wäre es super, wenn alle Schiffedesigns in der Systemansicht größer sind. Dann kämen die Modelle mehr zur Geltung und die Schlachten wären sehenswerter. So sind die leider sehr klein.

The ratio on borg COLONIES (not Complex) and the living space doesnt work well... there are 2-3 times living space which you can never use because there arent enough work places and if you build more destricts for that... you get even more living space. It would be great if there would be an "unity-perk" that gives building slots only to colonies. And an "Ascension Perks" that allows you to build 2 more Uni complexes.

Succinctly. People would like more endgame.

Expanding that. Keeping some big powers around helps. Crisis help with that. I was disappointed in my first playthrough that the dominion folded, not because I wanted accuracy, but because I wanted the looming threat to face.

I'm going to play the mod through again now, then offer any ideas that come to mind based on the universe and lore. The undine are a welcome addition.

And I absolutely agree... I find, more often than not, I end up restarting, simply because I've reached a point where I've all but finished the entire research tree, and even the Borg are of little concern given the size of my fleet...

Some more end-game events would indeed be a welcome addition...

Hi there!

1st off, big fan of the game, love the accuracy to all things trek! :)

This is an Idea & feedback forum so i hope throwing a few ideas around would be ok?

Just a few ideas for more Federation events & hero's?

Heros for United Earth/the UFP: Charles Trip Tucker the 3rd (just because we seem to have engineers from other starships i.e Scotty, La Forge, O'Brien)

The Vulcans Saavik & Valeris, both of whom served on 1 Enterprise or another under the tutelage of Captain Spock.

Captain Will Decker (we have his dad, Matt Decker) and he was captain (kind of) of the Enterprise for the 1st Movie.

Admiral Eric Pressman (we have the Interphasic cloak testing event but that relys on a random ship/scientist to research it, perhaps this should spawn Admiral Pressman/the U.S.S Pegasus the same way the Caretaker event spawns the U.S.S Voyager/Admiral Janeway?)

Admiral Edward Jellicoe from TNG's "the chain of command" (maybe make that an event where he is given command of the Enterprise while Picards on his mission, then after the U.S.S Cairo is spawned for him to command after it as that was his actual command?)

Dr Katherine Pulaski (just because other doctors/scientists from other ships were given their own hero characters (Dr Leonard McCoy, Dr Beverly Crusher, Dr Julian Bashier etc)

And maybe once Voyager returns from the Delta Quadrant since we already have Janeway & Tuvok, Chakotay, The Doctor & B'Lanna Torres (1st officer, Doctor & Engineer, the same as the other ships)?

A good Event to be added would be the Original Enterprise under command of Captain Kirk coming across the Botany Bay & Khan, with the end being Khan being marooned on Ceti Apha 5 (or another planet if no access to Ceti Alpha 5).

As for other Events, Maybe the 1st 6 movies could be done (the Motion Picture through the Undiscovered Country)? For example for the 1st movie the player would have to have the following criteria in order for the event to happen: Admiral Kirk on board a refitted Enterprise, we have to have met the Klingons (as V'ger comes to Earth through Klingon space at the films beginning) etc.

2nd, 3rd & 4th movie could be one big event with certain criteria again required: Admiral Kirk onboard a refitted Enterprise, If no Captain Terrell & USS Reliant have them spawned for the event, have to have met Khan before hand and marooned him on Ceti Alpha 5 (or another planet if we're not able to access Ceti Alpha 5) moving into the next film/event also requiring Admiral Kirk onboard a refitted Enterprise, the Reliant's destruction & Khans death, the creation of Genesis etc. Once done moving onto the 4th movie/event having Kirk on-board the Klingon warship with he Enterprise destroyed and the arrival of the Alien probe. Basically just doing the "first contact" event here with the klingon warship researching the event in orbit of the sun before returning with the whales.

The 5th movie/event would require Admiral Kirk onboard the Enterprise - A (spawned for the event if not yet built) and access to Nimbus 3 (whether our planet or an open borders with whoever owns it) and upon reaching Nimbus, the spawning of Sybok to take over the Enterprise & lead it to Sha Ka Ree (access to the galactic core also required).

The 6th and last event would require Syboks death in the previous event and Admiral Kirk back on-board the Enterprise - A, Admiral Hikaru Sulu on-board the Excelsior (spawned if not available) access to Khitomer via either owning or open borders with the Klingons, ending with the decommissioning of the Enterprise A and improved relation with the Klingon empire.

Some quick events could have Scotty and the U.S.S Jenolan (spawned upon the discovery of a Dyson Sphere) finding & subsequently crashing onto the surface of said Dyson Sphere, to later be revived by the Enterprise D. Or/and the start of Film 7, Star Trek Generations (requiring the Enterprise B under Kirks command) responding to a distress call from ships stuck in the Ribbon (the Nexus), the rescuing of said ships but the apparent death of Kirk and John Harriman taking command of the B. Leading to another event for the Enterprise D later in the game following the events of Generations and the subsequent destruction of the D.

I have loads of other ideas, but i didn't want to overwhelm anyone, so use them, dont use them, at least i've put it out there. lol.

I really enjoyed this mod so far, good job!

One feedback I'd give though: Please draw more from STO.
STO has amazing storylines, one of which being the Iconian invasion.

Having the Iconians as a crisis would be great.

Oh and it'd be cool if the Temporal Science vessels such as the Wells, Rozhenko and R'mor classes would be featured as event ships. More Temporal stuff would be cool.

if the space jellyfish from "Encounter at Farpoint" was roaming the galaxy like space amoebas do, that might improve the ambiance a bit. If it is possible to do so, perhaps there could be a way to force one to be a space station or a ship. Something for the more aggressive races to do. Of course Federation types would seek to free them whenever possible.
Roving bands of "Juniors" could add a similar ambiance. Maybe they steal resources from asteroids occasionally.
this is the greatest mod ever made in my humble opinion.

-It would be nice if assimilated starbases could be tansformed into normal borg starbases.
-And it would be nice if the strengh of starbases could be improve itself with better technologys
-And maybe a rebalancing cause the normal dominion starbase have 2.5 Power and mine only 600-1000. (Borg)
-It would be cool, if you get some Knowledge from species via assimilation. for example you get more intel, fleet informations or more map view, like see a planet with buildings etc. dont have to be real time view
I just put one of my tactical cubes beneath the Borg cube Artifact and holy ♥♥♥♥ is that artifact gigantic. I want such giant ships too.

First of all, thanks for your hard work on this excellent mod and for so much fun it gives!

I feel that many events, especially these episode-based, are often very skewed to a Federation-esque mindset, and the way how they unfold is out of character for more militant races. Would be great to have alternative, forceful paths to a positive outcome. The one with a ship trapped in Sagittarius A goes in this direction with the Shooting Practice option , albeit this one seems to me disproportionate to the good one.

As we can already turn slave into the Livestock, how about going down this very noir road and adding new types of slaves 1) for entertainment jobs [Would fit the Orions well!], 2) for [medical] research [may go well with Borg, Cardassians]?

I believe domestic servitude does the entertainment slavery thing, if they get unemployed the auto employ into a generic servant job that provides amenities and like halves their housing taken, they also do worker jobs and I think Entertainer jobs too.
