With 2.2.5 patch, late game performance feels faster and smoother than before but stillll..tooooo...slowwww...... I almost thought real late game crisis is my lack of patience.

How about making late game tech makes ships move much faster or increase overall ship speed, when not in combat? it would break intended balance, but I think it's still better than the pain of watching ships crawling around with sluggish base game's performance.

And that right there is a good reason not to make the change...

The issue is a vanilla one, and can only really be rectified by playing on smaller maps... Running Stellaris off an SSD also helps reduce late-game sluggishness, but any real solution is dependant on Paradox improving engine performance...

[Req and Idea]Graphics Variations of Starbase and Outpost.

I am grateful to the Mod developer teams of my favorite ST:NH!
It is my favorite to challenge in the UFP(mainly United Earth), But the feeling is a little that the UFP Starbase graphic is Limited to "Earth Spacedock(ESD)" is strange.


ESD is a huge Starbase of representing UFP with a total length of 5000m or more, with deck level 1200, and it is under construction from at least 2257 to 2285.
(It is the Extremely key facility in Starfleet central commanding, Shipbuilding and Maintenance, Advanced ship-class development, and Administration of Sector 001.)

Starbase 74, which appeared in TNG, is Exceptionally larger than ESD in the same model, But even in the 24th century(Prime Timeline) on standard size of Sector command officer deploying station is about one-third to two-third of ESD.
(Starbase 173 and 375 exteriors is were also used as a even at "Star Trek: Armada")


To change the Starbase graphics in a specific Solar system (eg, each imperial capital, or subordination Bajor to Cardassian Union) to a special one and to separate that another Outpost and Starbase all look like not Megastructure(look like ESD) Is it possible?
(If possible StarbaseID triggered change by a graphic asset on the event or special project, and maybe possible add or change unique faction effect..)

P.S.
Although there are insufficient fans of traditional Startrek (not a JJ Trek) in Japan, is it OK to localize this Mod into Japanese?
ST:NH's gaming system and flavor are very attractive and think that will definitely increase the fans of Stellaris and Startrek.

The problem I see with the mod at the moment is that it is far to slow for Multiplayer..or even Single player. I guess the slow pop growth is intended but it just need to much time. I would suggest to

1) either add something like a pop growth multiplyer in the settings. It could even be paired with a growth progression setting that would change the multiplayer with time similarly to what is used to the AI resource buff.
2) Another option would be to introduce more or better pop growth and pops controling techs so that the game speeds up over time.

Kitashiro - we have models for various starbase sizes and eras. However, the mod is currently at a size limit and we are not able to bring in new models, until PDX decide to update the game to 64-bit. Its certainly, 100%, something we WANT to do.

Wow!, I am greatly thankful that the Mod team shares the same inspiration as me :)

OK, I have never used Discord, but I will set up and after contact you.


Is it a problem of the maximum load RAM capacity(Limited 4GB on 32-bit Addr) of Gamcore?
If so it seems difficult to resolve unless PDX needs it in the Vanilla game, but I looking forward to being implemented with a "logical" solution.


Personally, I think that it would be desirable if there is a selectable of Low res+many asset version and Normal res+merge asset edition.
(If it is possible to split the core module such as "common" or "event", and other Sound or DDS asset files..)

If enjoy ST:NH as Mod of Stellaris, beautiful graphics are very attractive, but if experience the history of Startrek is visit a wide variety exterior of Starships, Starbases and planets on I thought more interesting.
(that is, to boldly go where no one has gone before!)

Pops with the Trained Warriors, or Strong/Very Strong, etc should favour military jobs over pops with other traits...

Right now I'm finding a situation where I have "liberated" Vaudwaur slaves (from the slave market) on Kaminar (Kelpian homeworld), but virtually everything but the Vaudwaur are being assigned to military roles, including the Kelpians themselves, and their negative military moral...

Although this theme may be different from the purpose of the thread, events related to "Bajor Wormhole" is implemented.
(Event preconditions are written in "STH_bajoran_story.1000 ~ 1012".)

I "Hirogen" is not checked it and not played, but some model data seems to exist on directories.

There is ship models for them just not in the game i mean sto made a few and not like this mod hasnt use assets (icons etc) from sto ye i know about the event just though might be cool if it was just there from the start

The adaptive Borg Plexus gives the Borg Ships a aura with - 40% for enemys to penetrate Shields and Armor.
However Borg never use any Shields so its a usless bonus, mayby you should change Shield to Hull as Borg Ships have only Armor and Hull.

could the Xindi planet habitability please be changed? It would be easy and more realistic to change it so all races had different preferences; in particular changing Arboreal to Alpine or Arctic and Primate to Continental would be nice.
