As an avid fan of the series I love the commitment shown in the work presented. A few issues I noticed while playing ST:NH that really stuck out to myself.
1. Moons are colliding with planets graphics, destroying immersion as i play with ironman mode to avoid console temptations and cannot correct. If a wider orbits can be achieved or the shrinking of moons would be nice on the prefab maps as it is in the Sol system.
2. Earth's size compared to Luna's orbit, like my first comment.
3. it is also odd after playing past 2400 milestone and no moon colony as mention in 'first contact' from Riker to Cochrane, or video from 'Enterprise', or Beverly Crusher's backstory. An option to colonize Luna like Mars would be nice to feel more realistic to the lore; or purhaps an ability to colonize dead worlds like Project Genesis.
3. Pacing of tech in the Federation, I get it is 2150 but the pacing does not go well with the stellaris timer and maybe and option to start at 2063 would fix it, we see the Phoenix in y'alls video and get the NX missions but the pacing kills it.
4. Borg cubes took forever to achieve, I understand the Tactical Cube (only slighty stronger) and Omega Cube taking awhile, but the Cube more important than the Diamond design in the drive of perfection held by the Borg. I do admit I love the Borg more than any other species, that ship (Borg Cube) is a hallmark of the Borg's shapes used in FTL flight due to it's simplicity as like the sphere. I suggest earlier acheivement and different pieces to be added later as the Borg adapt to new threats.
5. The Borg advisor sounds like it keeps saying, 'Planet conquest failed' when invading and a few of the messages are sistorted as a FYI
6. Borg assimilation of new species is an awesome concept. I was puzzled of the lack of technological absorption based on development of the species and/or number. Colony harvest is a neat idea for resources and pop's, but a more indepth requirement of that method would be more accurate. I love the way y'all sup'd up race, but mining and research should surround assimilation not stations built, forcing the player to react like Borg.
7. Borg suggestion primarily but other species may can use it, recycling. Efficiency is the primal nature of the Borg. Sometimes i need resources and their are to many Pops and not enough energy or minerals. Borg recycle their drones and planetary resources once not required. I am not sure if the code permits it but resources back .75 or such for none usable or obsolete units rather than a disband that waste precious materials and time. Borg's, would never use mines as they waste materials and defeat their purpose of effieciency.
8. Hub idea by using the wormhole tech for the Borg's transwarp network, or the Vaadwuar's subspace corridors. That way maybe a wormhole, transwarp hub, or subspace corridor device/navigation could be installed to allow access to those devices.
9. Federation ships take a whacky jog back and forth throught the era's, like the Franklin Class is post Federation forming yet predates it in the opening of the game. Then TOS ships (tranports, constructor's) moving backwards in designs through the years. Basic slow models used at first until the NX unvielling would make since, like Terra Nova colony ships classes or the slow cargo frieghters. It would give more weight to fast exploration and appreciation to newer ship classes and designs.
10. Finally to tie this now rant off, an expansion to ship classifications. I get stellaris has science vessel's and I do not know how to control the code to this game. But a bonus to the federation in exploration vessels purpose like in the science, tactical, engineering station selection would be appreciated. I tried making the Federation prosper through exploration and discovery, but had to send fleets in inspect first to escort science vessels every which way it travels to not lose it or have it run.
I hope I did not offend the artists and coders of this project. It is awesome and logged a many of hours on it already, look forward to y'alls next surprise for us fans of the series.

Thanks, we will fix the Trill system shortly. Regarding the two initializers in the smaller Milky Way, can you provide screenshots? This is being caused by Stellaris vanilla initializers, and we want to make sure we understand what is happening before making any changes.
Love to see the new ships 1701 and 1701 A refit to be added in game
As of this moment, we are following the plotline of the prime universe - which means, no Kelvin ships (for the most part). There are some ways around that however so we will see what the future will bring!
USS Vengenance is a dreadnought class ( timeline 2250s section 31) , and If Uss discovery can be added + spore drive ( jump drive) will be great.
The Constitution N refit ( coming star trek 4, star trek Beyond ) leaked the design of new 1701 , 1701A designs.
