WTF???
not played the mod in a while...but WTF??? terran prime quest line is just either attack mars verran array with transports or negotiate with science ship, both result in failure and instant change to terran prime- instant turn off for me..sorry... not really a choice at all.. also, how does forming a federation work? i just get the normal vanilla federation options, not the amalgamation so that everyone becomes the federation.... seems bugged to me and a massive turn off from the mod i remember..

Hey Jammy! I've always used Jonathan Archer when negotiating with Terra Prime, that always works.. You can form the Federation after the Xindi events and Terra Prime has passed. You also need to be in a actual federation in the game with Andoria, Vulcan and Terra. When you have that you will get an event to absorb all of their territories and they will become your vassals "Andoria Sector" "Vulcan Sector" and "Tellar Sector", You can also form a federation with other species and absorb them aswell. Let me know if this works for you.

If you're being forced to become Terra Prime there's something very wrong...

Even if you fail to stop them, and Terra Prime kicks off their rebellion, you should get a prompt to become Terra Prime, or remain as United Earth -- but it does mean you go to war with Terra prime, and you need to retake Mars as a result...

If you're being forced into becoming Terra Prime I'd be looking at checking STNH is fully updated, and that something hasn't corrupted within it's files...

I'd also look to make sure you don't have some other mod active which might be conflicting with it, and breaking the decision on which faction to become...

Forming the UFP requres 3 of the original 4 members be in a standard Federation together, and to have completed the Xindi chain if you have started that (IIRC), and will result in an event prompting you to form the UFP, or wait for another time -- the event will pop up every 1-2 years if you delay it, until you form the UFP...

If you're having trouble settling their differences, there are events which can trigger to address these... Just be patient, they have always happened for me, but don't expect them to happen according to the canon timeline of events, as they are randomised...

I did reinstall windows some days ago and today i installed stellaris after quite some time again.
got the same problem now...
i have to negotiate or fight them with 3 transport ships + General.
well... if i try to talk, it "fails" (no matter if i do it with archer or anyone else) ... all aliens have to leave, goverment will be switched to tera prime i only can choose surrender, the other option no other option would be status quo which isnt avaible couse terra prime wont accept that..
when i fight the general gets killed, the phalanx gets used, i lose pop and get forced to surrender and terra prime takes over....

i did reload for like 20 times and tryed both in case there is a random factor.. nothing...

well its fresh installed, but sure... i will check the files for errors and i will desubscribe all, subscribe again and try again... but i have doubts...

Nothing you describe here sounds right... The team behind STNH are very big on not rail-roading players into decisions like this...

When the events fail they should lead to a civil war with Terra Prime, and the option to either become Terra Prime, or remain as United Earth... Being forced like you are definitely seems like a bug of some sort...

I'm having a similar issue, the option to status quo is always grayed out I can only surrender if I negotiate, to maybe help op I needed to use more then 3 army's to storm the array I used 6 an it works

Having recently started another UFP game, I have to admit, I do NOT like the new Demons chain either and owe the OP a partial apology...

Though I did not encounter this issue of being forced into becoming Terra Prime -- since I did not select the Surrender option -- the fact that, even after multiple attempts, via both a military strike and a the diplomatic response, I had no option but to either Surrender outright, or settle for a White Peace, where Mars breaks away, and potentially where Starfleet HQ is destroyed...

If, at best, Mars seceding is the "good" option that is, essentially, forced onto players, this event does need further attention...
