D'Arsay Array
Before I ask my question, I would like to say how much I love this mod and value all the time and effort that the developers have put into this mod. It is amazing and I can't wait to see how it develops in the future!

So I recently had the D'Arsay Array event fire and there was a slight problem. I had a science ship try to investigate a solution; in the process it was destroyed. The array is still there and the special projects still appear in my situation log but the event does not appear on the map with the Array (also, beautiful texture by the way). This means that I have this megastructure within my borders but there is nothing that can be done to either dismantle it or continue investigating a solution. Is this a bug or is this meant to be this way?

I have some video evidence of this as well. The first investigation starts at 46:02 in the following video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um95OpwZkPw&feature=youtu.be

The second attempt at an investigation begin in the same video at minute 52:02 but, as you can see, the special project exists in the situation log but not on the map and I can't get my science ship to investigate it.

Thanks in advance for your help =)

Same happened to me and asked the same elsewhere, am interested to hear outcome

from bug reports thread where it may be lost:
I see in the 2.5.1 patchnotes the D'Arsay Array was only recently set to spawn - it spawned for me but, after the initial investigation when it gave the very funny negative outcome, I wasn't able to put construction or science ships in orbit and now it just sits there looking intriguing. The two
missions remain in the situation log but since I can't put my ships in orbit its gonna stay that way

Same thing has happened to me twice. Science ship is destroyed, no way that I can see to finish either mission now.

Oh now I see the issue - at least I think - in the bugs reports someone had a link that shows it - click Situation Log --> Repair the D'Arsay ... and the text there right under the picture clearly states "Research the requirements to restore the array to full function". So perhaps there is a tech needing researched.

few people will answer my questions too it seems about this mod. I was wondering if the mid-late lag is fixed because the pop are handled differently...anyone have knowledge about this?

Sorry pal, I cannot help you on that. Have not run a game that late yet with latest mod. I usually bail out 2400 or 2500.
No, I think it's just gonna sit there forever now, might even be WAD besides the log.

It's a bug. If you fail the event, it sits there forever like this.
