Increase idea group slots?

Hi, I wanted to increase the idea group slot manually (by editing the common/technologies/adm.txt file) and it didnt work. Any suggestion on how I can do that?

Well it works via this file, so you probably did something wrong if it didn't work. It also should be noted that modifying the workshop version should not work as the files would be replaced again and again.
