I'm still rebalancing and on my local version, the vampires cost as much as they should, compared to their EHP. Cultist should be giving +100 attack and +100 attack speed - it was giving 5000 of each a few versions back - are you sure you still are getting that much of a boost?
I've designed Pugna's cost upgrades this way as an alternative for human builders mage - that builders mages cost a lot but give a substantial boost every upgrade. Pugna, at least early on, is cheaper but lets you upgrade more often giving smaller increases in nuking power. Then it splits into 3 upgrades of which all 3 are viable, one is a healer, the second one buffs other units and the third one has an AOE stun letting people deal with waves like the techies or pirates more easily.
I wanted to make a builder that has different timings than human builder so while some units are similar, the costs will be different and when they peak in strength will also differ.
I understand the concept, but then you should add somewhere the current lvl of the tower, since the cost of upgrade are all the same.
Or maybe scale the cost. Make it 30/40/50/60 so we know better the current lvl etc.
Other than that it's fun to play
It has many HIGH HP and HIGH ARMOR tanks, add that with the tier 1 SPLASH and AOE attacks, coupled with the MANY AURA units (Attack speed bonus, magic resist bonus [Lifestealer], Evasion aura bonus [Greater Vampire] ) and with capable STUN/DISABLE (Pudge/Pugna) unit skillsets thrown in. I think it has a very high advantage compared to other races.
Well with a Butcher with the channeled stun skill (I think it lasts about 3s?) with a venom added in the boss is almost half or more health down before he can start attacking.
To touch on the END WAVE 31 part, Having gotten 1 of every aura available for the race (esp the atk speed and evasion) with the Spikes Pugna which does area STUN (which stuns about 3s?) and with the Shadows fiend splash, I endured about 4 waves. Well with more refinement and tango management I believe I can go further. I think the STUN needs to last a lot shorter, considering how much utility value the units have. I haven't been able to endure 4 end wave creeps with the other races.
