Suggestion to improve matchmaking
When the game starts, you can swap players to stay vs same lvl opponent. No matter in which order players are loaded, in the begining you should swap them in this order: in the top lane the most strong opponent from 1 team vs the most strong in another team. In 2nd lane 2nd by rank and so on.

i don't think this can be done, but it would be a good change

Great idea! Although I have played against "rank 1" players and they have been quite good.

Maybe just have the game load players - top to bottom in mmr rank.
