It could be in the same voting window as game mode (teams/ffa), like in elemental TD. Like you could check box "all random" or other modes and if there is enough votes the game will start go into -ar.
But I don't think it has a place in ranked mode, though. Unless it has "swap" mechanic (first round is -ar, next round players switch between heroes to have match ups even)
