Random Thinking / Suggestions
Does anyone here (i'm refering to >= minimal 2-3 month players) currently feels roshpit is kinda "What should i do now" ?

well, if you are, maybe i will explain what i feel about roshpit's current version (3.2)

Before, what we used to do was farming Mithril shards on jungle tanari.
Back then, me and my boys were competing with ourselves, about how fast we can clear jungle.
and how many shards we can collect per hour.

All pro players keep collecting shards, maybe try to improve their current hero or try to build a new hero in order to solo or maybe the hero will be useful for their team to get more shards per hour in jungle.
Then we can show it off to others about how good our build or how fast we can beat the ♥♥♥♥ ouf ot SF / slardar / DP boss.

I think, Roshpit was fun back then.

Let's compare it to current version :

Nowadays, what's our goal to play?
Well, i think our first goal is to beat Arena Legend 7 Stars to collect new Immortal weapon.
Of course we can still say " u can still farming shards " , but i think most of us will agree that we farm shards, to reroll our gear so that we can beat Arena Pit.

Now, this is where everything goes into the boring stage.

I must say, Current Roshpit Heroes (2016, 19 Oct) , only PA (voltex) is the best heroes for Arena.
there are few other heroes too (i dont really want to say what are those) that is dependable to do Star 7 arena, but i think without PA , everything's gonna be struggling game.

To beat a normal 7 star from opening the floor, choose stars, kill dk , kill storm , open gate, kill 3 miniboss, kill TB, and kill pitlord requires around +- 1 hour.

And we will get random weapon from Pit. That currently minimal lvl is 45 on star 7.

and < 50% chance, u might get lvl 50 weapon (or it might just <20% or even <5%)

also , even if we get lvl 50 weapon, the runes might be not what we are looking or maybe the runes roll is too small to be considered good weapon.

Before i continue to give suggestions, Let's do an apple to apple comparison :
1. Main Goal
Old : Farm Shards All day to reroll the gear to show off to others (we have god build GEARS)
Current : Farm weapon to show off to others (we have god WEAPON)

2. Rewards
Old : When we beat jungle boss, everyone's got shards
Crurent : When we beat pit, everyone's still got shards, but only drop 1 Immortal weapon each game.
Keep in mind, there are few things i want to highlight on this point :
a. Not all weapon has effect yet (it's an okay problem , because it's a new update, so take your time, we dont really mind on this, just saying that few players might dislike after doing some hard work but getting a non effect weapon )
b. The level of weapon depends on the stars (it's an okay problem too, because i know that this logic is like playing roshpit on normal, then beat elite, then beat legend, so it's kinda like that but has 7 difficulty to get good items)
c. The rolls on the items kinda works the same as usual weapon. I mean, we can still find 10-20 runes rolls on each row on those weapon even on 7 stars. ( At first, i thought the rolls should be 25 - 30 runes on each row on 7 stars )
d. Only 1 weapon each game (just to make it clearer)

So, there are a, b, c, d problems that we have to face, and 4 of those are making the rewards even more sucks if we compare the Current and Old rewards

3. List of Heroes
Old : most of the heroes can be build to beat jungle legend "FAST" as we want to get more shards per hour. Example : CM, TA, veno, LC, Bara, zeus maybe for rez, huskar, OD, drow, invoker, BM, axe, jugger and maybe more. Those are the heroes that i or my friends used to get shards FAST.
Current : few heroes that can actually deal damage on Arena star 7 "FAST" as we want to get so many weapon per day. (While we still need to face the problem on point number 2)


In result,
we as a player (team players) need to have PA.
3 others might use any heroes that will boost PA or help PA in any ways.
but,1 / 2 players in 1 team will feel useless as they can't really help beside to open the
floor and choosing stars on billboard.

We (me and my boys) have tried most of roshpit's heroes , but i can tell you beside PA , in my opinion, i think only 3 / 4 heroes that can be combined to deal a quite good damage in order to clear pit FAST.

******Side Story :
For those who haven't tried star 7, Let me make it clear to you how hard is that, and keep in mind, this is my opinion, and i think it works like this :
Resist 99.9% on star 7 means : U deal "X" damage , those x damage will be reduced by enemy's armor (if u use physical) , or will be reduced by enemy's magic resist (if u use magical damage) or not reduced (if u use pure damage).
It will be your "Y" damage.
Lastly, your "Y" damage will be reduced 99.9%, and that's your real damage to the pitlord.
In simple words, dealing 1 billion (9 zeros) damage to enemy is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ damage.
that's why i think PA is really needed, and few other heroes that can boost other heroes like PA also will be good.
End Side Story*****

That means, our pool of heroes have been decreased dramatically.
I think most of us agree that we like to try and beat the hardest things , but once we've reached it, what should we do next?
Well, on tanari jungle version, we like to build new heroes, try other heroes, other build that might actually works to beat the same goals, but it seems like everything is limited on Arena star 7.


***Summary, Hold it boys, Almost reach the end***

So, What we think the problems are :

1st and the biggest problem in my opinion :
The pool of heroes that actually able to deal damage on star 7 is limited by this damage problem on 7 star.

( I'm not saying to make it easier, i like how u make 99.9% resist on the hardest level, but what i want to say is we need more heroes to be buffed as strong as PA.
So that we can actually feel "This hero is totally worth my time, because i feel like i'm actually able to do something beside choosing stars on arena" )

take a look at how many heroes i think are able to do something on jungle, that's alot of heroes because when we feels bored, we try a new heroes and new combination of gears on those new heroes, and that's what makes it fun.
Roshpit is all about experimenting and combine your knowledge of items with your knowledge of runes / skills on those heroes in order to become a god players.

But nowadays, looks like only few heroes that actually able to do that.


2nd big problem in my opinion is

take a look at old version, where our goal is farming shards, we all feels like we get what we came for. 4 players playing with max focus, fast clear, fast shards, all of us got the shards equally. We spend some hours to actually getting shards, and we enjoy the time we spend 20 - 100k shards just to get good body.

But now, 4 players playing with max focus, can't really fast clear , not too bad shards (3,5k if 4 premium pass on 7 stars) , but only 1 of us or most of the time none of us interested on the weapon.

and also, i think we all agree if i say, finding a really GOOD weapon (BIG STATS and RUNES that we want) on RPC_world_1 requires hours.

and that's only Rare / Mythical weapon , which < 50% drops , and most of the time, on legend jungle with spirit stone, the weapon got max lvl 50. We still need hours to get the best weapon. In simple words , i can say if you play solo 1 hour game roshpit spirit stone jungle legend , u will find 20 - 50 weapons. And u still need HOURS to find the best one.

While arena pit, only gives 1 weapon per hour.
(Well maybe u are able to get more weapons per hour, still u wont get minimal 20 weapons per hour like u can in RPC_WORLD_1)
it's really make things unbelievable hard. and u can't roll the weapons :)

Most of roshpit pro players likes it hard, but i myself doesn;t really like the impossible one.
and i think getting the level 50 weapon with best runes best stats is almost impossible in this current version.


3rd big problem in my opinion :

take a look at old version, while shards is our main goal, we can use it to get more gears up. (helm, body, hands, boots, trinkets)
while our current goal is only weapon (and keep in mind the 2nd big problem in my opinion too) i feel like our goal is limited now.

but 3rd problem is actually not that kind of big deals if u solve the 1st and the biggest problem as i mentioned above.



Note :
I like it when you rework heroes / items or make new heroes / items, all of my friends think the same too , we kinda like how we get excited every time there's new hero so that we can figure out what combination of items and runes should we do for this heroes to be a god heroes.
And that's all i think what's roshpit is all about, God's build made from experience , HardWork Shards , and ood rolls.

I really agree with Rework some hero to deal damage on 7 star, Like Elemental warlord.
I think all players did clear 7 star pit will be agree with ur oppinion about rerolling weapon, maybe with 10k or 20k shard each roll. that's fair enough right?

MAIN GOAL - old and curent :
hmm, i just say about, "how if the last update (roshpit 3.2) its not about IMMO WEAPON?". than roshpit player still doing OLD GOAL right? doing tanari, more shard, more hero, and all.
its not a true roshpit players problem. the true problem is, "THEY WANT NEW CHALANGE, MORE DIFICULT, MORE NEW RARE ITEM, MORE TIRE"

The New Pit Trial and Immo Weapon is good idea, and 7 star is Great Game, make some players create SOLID teamate, more combination buff/hero/etc.
I hope that new map REDFALL RIDGE will update with new RARE item.

1 thing, i really want Chalky.Brush update that old program "roll item", thats really help roshpit players.

hmm, just my oppinion, dont know how good is it.

I understand chalky has buffed weapon drops many times on arena star 7(very small buffs). The issue however still remains the same. I agree with many things that this Post mentions but I want to focus on enemy #1. ARENA REWARD SYSTEM. It is still a massive waist of time in terms of our time spent vs the reward given. Basic math shows the near impossibility of me getting a decent immortal weapon on even star 7. Its hard enough to find a good weapon on Tanari with a spirit stone when weapons are dropping like rain. Now we get 1 random weapon per +/- an hour.

I have almost given up on this. Even on the extreme rare condition the weapon you need drops you still have a 25% chance of getting it because most likely your party will desire it also.

With current patch I have only seen 1 weapon with 7% base ability roll out of many many runs. Ive seen 1 lvl 50 weapon. And I have not found one single immortal weapon with the runes i need for my build.

The hardcore players spend a lot of time hunting and grinding for their build idea which usually focuses mainly on 2-3 runes. All the other runes support the focus runes. Our weapon will always contain the 2 focus runes. So after all this time of making a strategy and then grinding to obtain the build we come to the final piece for perfection, The "Legendary weapon" which I am sad to say is almost a near impossibility in the current patch. Myself and Noob Here(author of this post) have completed star 7 countless times and we still have yet to find the weapon we need.

My suggestions
-either allow us to reroll the weapon (i dont mind if you make it cost a lot of shards)
-Pitlord drops a minimum of 4 weapons
-star 7 always drops a level 50 weapon


As noob stated, you can pop a spirit stone and start killing ♥♥♥♥ in tanari. Even with lvl 50 weapons raining from the sky it can takes hours to find the weapon with the rune combination and stats you need.

At the rate of 1 immortal weapon per estimated hour this is just impossible. Especially since you cant solo the arena and guarantee you get the item when it drops.

CHalky this issue remains at large. The updates have not fixed it. And players are giving up on even trying to grind it to complete their work. These awesome weapons are not impacting the game. Please give us a real update. Even with the suggestions I have given above its still gonna take hours to find a weapon which shows jsut how bad the current patch is.

Really thank's to Chalky for hard work. i appreciated that new update, hope next 4.0 roshpit update any mini game :D, maybe :D

ah, mybe need include stone with unique effect for add on immo :D, than than immo can add slot :D
that's good idea right? haha...
maybe i just trolling, maybe it's dream 1 adicted roshpit players. :D thank's Chalky
