So, regarding having to perform said task while the mod is installed, I got an idea. If possible, could you just have it detect if Maxwell is unlocked for the Feat that requires beating Adventure Mode? Also, try using this technique to apply to other Feats? Thanks for reading.

There are indeed going to be rewards. I haven't worked out the details yet, but I do have some ideas.
