How is the lore so far?
Something I've been working on, not fully complete yet, so expect some flaws. Say if it suits the set or not, thanks.

Rooftrellen was in the Frozen North as there had been rumors of a purple goblin in a large armored suit uprooting and cutting down the trees in that area. As he was scouting the forests the earth beneath the Treant Protector started shaking; the volcano that was presumed inactive had one last destructive movement before becoming inactive for life. The Treant Protector hurried to protect the trees from harm of the volcano's magma using everything he could to protect the forest he had promised to protect, even if that meant giving up his own life and nourishment - which he intended on doing to protect the forest – and as he was channelling his abilities to save the forest he loved so dearly, he eventually blacked out from the dangerous amount of power he had been using. Rooftrellen woke to find the forest he had sworn to protect charred and burning, the ashes of his friends and allies showering him in their black tears, their reminders of a broken promise filling him with agony. He was in despair of failing his role in protecting the forests. Rooftrellen soon came to realize that he was still alive. As he studied upon the charred landscapes around him he noticed the magma that had destroyed his home had been infused into his bark. He soon realized that he was no longer bound by the weight of his role of protecting the forest, he was free; able to do whatever he wanted. With a new destructive power infused in his leaves and being filled with the despair for his fallen comrades, he had his mind set on something other than protecting the forests, the magma had changed his roots, and the burning vengeance of the trees he had protected for so long moulded his bark into something much more sinister.
