Temperature Mechanic / Management
For the next big step on this mod I am currently building out the base of a system for monitoring the players temperature (infection indicator) and building a system around this where the worse the temperature gets the closer you get to losing yourself to the infection.

I'm going to make it a mechanic you can turn off in sandbox setting but the idea is to give the player a long term management mechanic where you have to weigh up potential rewards against possibly increasing your core temperature too high.

I will likely adopt a similar system to our suspicion engine where there are different tiers of temperature level and the higher you go the more negative effects you receive on the player. along with activities/items/environmental conditions that also effect your temperature gain.

the player will receive a glacially slow temperature increase just for being alive so there is a stead increase for even players being super careful. so for example say you sat in a basement for 80 days at the end of those 80 days you would turn.

i plan to have it where when the user hits max temp they do instantly turn to mindless infected.|

will look to add custom item's recipies to help the player manage temperature and feed in existing things like antibiotics ect but there will also be playstyles that will rewards the player for being careful.
