Gameplay
Anything about gameplay, balance, and clarity goes here! I'm especially eyeing the cards, relics, etc. that encourage having more Ravenous than less.

Some cards leave me scratching my head: Risk Taker, Planning, Recipe Card. What is the point of these? Risk Taker eats 2 food, exhausts so net loss 1 food. Takes up one draw slot to give you the opportunity to draw one more when comboed with a draw card.

The food cards with seconds are all strong since they turn a cost (food) into a benefit of free card draw that doesn't count as risk. Dessert and Grazing are mostly the same card (also similar to Savor it). Midnight Snack is just plain better than Cookies.

Imported Good seems too expensive. Most X cards are already expensive, so Imported will cost something like 4+4+2 food for a generally mediocre effect.

It seems like you are pricing temp hp higher than hp for some reason. Boxed Lunch is good, and most the temp hp cards look terrible in comparison.

The ravenous cards are bad, but you already knew that.

Charity and Cover Tracks and Starter+ seem very strong.

Some upgrades are dubious: Caffeine, Hungering Strike, Fasting Strike

Snack probably has too much build up for mediocre payoff.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm going to drop a few tweaks now with this in mind. They'll come a little bit at a time in the long run, but hopefully they address some of the more extreme oddities!

Tapping this here for anyone who runs into it:

  • Any opinions on the changed Ravenous cards?
  • Should Orange Pellets not affect, halve, or remove Ravenous? It's only not a debuff so that it doesn't chew on any artifact you might gain, so that's on my list of thoughts.
  • Ice Cream. Right now it doesn't do anything, and it probably should. Suggestions?
