Project Zomboid

[B42] Knox Event Expanded NPC mod [alpha v0.3.14-1]
A question about npc health
Recently I tried to re-create techdemo scenario with my modpack, and this mod is pretty good for it, though it made me realise that there are some things missing. Is it possible to add drag mechanic to wounded npcs like it was with Kate in the techdemo? And do bitten npcs turn into zomboids? And if they do, will npcs react to being bitten/iplayer being infected?

Maybe. I've looked into the Grappletech a little bit, since I thought it would be cool if you could use the NPCs as human shields or kidnap them.

However, I try to follow a design principle where NPCs are equal to the player i.e. the player doesn't have any advantages over the NPCs. If NPCs would be able to become "downed" (in lack of a better word), this would mean that the player can become injured as well.

I'm not sure if that will work with the design of the mod.

Yes, they do.
Well, I understand what you mean by "downed", but my thought was about leg injury, since Kate couldn't walk normally by herself. In techdemo yes, she couldn't move at all, but maybe it's possible to code something like being able to put an injured npc on shoulders? I have zero understanding of pz code so idk if it's even remotely possible, but thanks for the answer. I haven't met those situations where an npc is injured in the leg for now, but I guess that's possible, tho probably I'm asking too much.
