Suggestion: Less items for NPCs

I noticed that the NPCs just fill their fridges and boxes with a TON of stuff, and I mean a ton of food in jars and other stuff. Is this stuff they generate themselves or do they loot it from the houses near them?

I think they loot it from nearby places. If the house is by itself and there's nothing around to loot, I do see them having empty fridges and such.

I think they do generate with it, as there was this super well supplied couple in Rosewood within the first day. Maybe they were just preppers tho?
