Update Rambles
Update 1
-Ammo box & carton rebalance: Now ammo boxes and cartons reflect the weights of the rounds themselves.
-Added spawn points to 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 ammo cartons.
-Added crafting recipe to convert a box of .223 rounds to 5.56, and vice versa: Because B42 doesn't yet allow a "Craft All" option in the right click menu.
-Removed Compensator attachment from the H&K M23: Can't have both Compensator and Suppressor.
-Turned the Remington M24 Sniper Rifle into a suppressed weapon.
-Slightly increased suppressor effectiveness: The MP5SD, H&K M23, Colt Commando and Remington M24 are a little bit quieter.
-Added PTBR translation: Thank you NopOYes!
-Added Polish translation: Thank you Nacho Juarez!
-Unloading magazines gives the same Reloading XP as loading them: Dipped my toe back into lua scripting and was happier than a pig in s*** to find out this worked like a charm. :D

Update 2
-Yeeted the jamming yeet script, because now gun jams are a vanilla sandbox option (Thank you Indie Stone!)
-Added a crafting recipe to convert 50 .308 rounds into 50 7.62x51 rounds, because the ammo boxes are different sizes.
-Added repair recipes.
-Added my pistol magazines to the shoulder holster's accepted items list.
-Police evidence rooms have a few more cool spawns.
-Removed pre-suppressed H&K M23, Colt Commando & Remington M24.
-Finally fixed attacheable suppressors! Added them back into the loot tables and as possible pre-attached upgrades to several guns.

Update 3
-Gun Lights are in! Almost all guns now accept a gun light attachment, and several can spawn in with a pre-attached one. I made the model itself smaller than the vanilla one because I didn't like how bulky it was, and I also made it attach to the side of the guns instead of under the barrel. This way we can have both a Laser Sight and a Gun Light attached.
-Military Pouches now accept Webbing attachments. The attachments look fine when you're wearing a backpack of any sort, but without one they seem to "float". I may add shoulderstraps to this item at some point to address this.
-Bandolier (Bullets) and Bandolier (Shells) now accept ammunition and reduce their weight.
-Removed the 9mm Suppressor from MP5SD attachments because DUH, it's integrally suppressed. Also gave the MP5SD some pre-attached upgrades.

Update 4
-Military and SWAT vehicles can now spawn some sweet boomsticks.
-Re-categorized many of the gun attachments. This will be a yuge helper in case I ever create additional upgrades.
-Added a craft recipe for a Gun Cleaning Kit (Homemade), which can be used to repair guns.
-Re-wrote and added to gunstore loot tables. B42 mixed up some of the spawns so I gave my stuff a bit of a boost in gunstores.
-Added ES translation. Thank you Mikaboy!
-New Trait: Gun Enthusiast. "A regular at the local firing range." +1 Aiming, +1 Reloading, and +1 Nimble. -6 points.

Update 5
-Fixed some wonky attachment entries. They weren't causing errors but some of 'em didn't want to work right.
-Noticed that one vanilla gunstore loot table was practically empty, so I inserted all gunstore weapons to it.
-New boomstick: IMI Galil. An AK-style select-fire assault rifle chambered in 5.56, using 50-round Extended magazines.

Update 6
-Custom Gun Cases are in. Mine are so much cooler than vanilla PZ's because they will tell you exactly what's in 'em without you having to mouse over and stare at icons or toss them on the floor first. :D

Update 7
-Lowered the suppressed weapons' swingsound decibel levels. Some people have a glitch where these custom sounds are incredibly loud. I have no idea why, but I hope that's now fixed.
-Weapon world model offset fix. My guns should not be embedded in the ground anymore. They "float" just a tad but that's so they won't look buried when placed on tables/other surfaces.
-Magazine weight adjustments.
-The Military Pouches and Pack can now spawn in surplus store clothing racks.
-Small increase to all suppressor spawn rates.
-Added repair recipes for the IMI Galil.
-Magazines detach now when ejected and attach when inserted. This was a doozy. I attempted a simple(ish) clientside lua script to manage this but ended up with so many bugs that I had to go the long way around, looking at what Hyzo (very cleverly) did for his Firearms mod. There is still some jank in how mine work, but we'll just deal with that for now.

Update 8
-Added sawn-off recipes for the Remington M11-87 and the Mossberg M590 Tactical.
-Added "ammo belts". You can wear a bandolier and an ammo belt for some extra loose rounds. They can spawn where bandoliers do.
-Gave the sawn-off shotguns some upgrades they can spawn with.
-Added rack animations for the lever action Marlin M1894 and the sawn-off Winchester 1887. Yuge thank you to fellow mod developer Nik for A) letting me use the lever action rack for the Marlin and B) for creating the iconic Terminator 2 rack for the Winchester!

Update 9
-Fixed ammunition and magazine world models. Apparently since B42, several items cannot share the exact same model and texture. That's now fixed.
-Added crafting recipes for the 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 ammo cartons. You can now open them and make them as well.
-Fiber Optic Sight script fix. Hopefully it now does exactly what it's supposed to.
-2 new types of ACOG Scopes, an x4 one and an x8 one. The x4 is better for short-medium range combat, while the x8 provides much better range with an increased penalty to aiming time.

Update 10
-Fixed Gun Cleaning Kit World Models.
-You can now unload the Marlin M1894 and the Winchester M1887.
-Increased 7.62x51 ammo spawns since they are exclusively military.
-Inserts to WardrobeClassy loot table.
-New boomstick: Sawn-off Long Ranger. You can now saw off the barrel and the stock of the Long Ranger bolt-action rifle, leaving you with a .223 pistol.

Update 11
-Added a temporary AnimSet fix to address the vanilla B42 full auto issue. Full auto has been broken since 42.5.0 so this is my temporary fix. The issue itself is still there, and my fix isn't perfect either. We'll all just have to wait for TIS to fix what they broke in 42.5.0
-Increased the MaxRange value for all weapons, along with the MaxSightRange values of optics and scopes.
-Fixed a few mirrored rifle models.

Update 12
-Gun Magazine Crafting! Added crafting recipes for every gun mag that the mod has. Added Springs and Box of Springs. Requires some Welding skill and a recipe magazine you can find wherever you find your other recipe magazines. Can be auto-learned at level 5. No longer must we suffer from finding the exact gun we want to use, and not find enough mags for it! You're welcome (or I'm sorry, whichever works best <3).

New Gun Update plus a few fixes
-Introducing the Walther P5! An adorable 9mm semi-automatic pistol that will fit perfectly in your ankle holsters. Holds 8 rounds in a magazine +1 in the chamber. "Bond, James Bond."
-Fixed the ability to rack and shoot from within vehicles for the Marlin M1894 and the Winchester 1887. Thanks to camille on my Discord for this great catch!
-Added the needed translation entries for Springs and Box of Springs. Thanks to Azazellz for this one!

New Gun and Little Fixes Update
-Increased Ammo Belts' and Bandoliers' capacities by 1.
-Increased Military Pouches and Packs capacities by 1.
-Introducing the RK-95! This gun was commission work for our generous Discord member Juca. :) It's a bit of a time-breaker by two years, but I was successfully pestered and then bribed to make it. :D It spawns at the same rate as the RK-62, and you can also get it from bandit and survivalist zombies.

Update 14
-Updated some automatic weapons' firing rates. The MP5, MP5SD, M1A1 Thompson, M249, and M60 now fire at a faster rate. This unfortunately won't affect a running save unless you use debug mode to spawn the updated weapon(s).
-Increased Aiming and Reloading skill book spawns in gun stores and police stations.
-Fixed some translation LUA entries.
-Introducing "Old Painless", a 5.56 rotary cannon - more commonly known as a minigun. Don't get too excited, Old Painless will currently not spawn anywhere at all, so if you want to play with it you'll have to use debug mode to spawn it and its box magazine in. Did this one for pure fun, and for server admins to issue some serious payback time. :)

Update 15 - The Drum Magazines update!
-Added drum magazines and crafting recipes for them. The following automatic weapons can now switch magazine types: M16A1, M16A2, Colt Commando, AK-47, RK-62, RK-95, M14, H&K G3, MP5, MP5SD, M1A1 Thompson. 9mm and .45 ACP drum mags have a 60-round capacity, and the higher caliber ones hold 50 rounds. How-to-use: Eject the regular magazine and then either right click the weapon to "Use Drum Magazine" or use the crafting menu to do the same.
-Adjusted the DIY or Homemade Suppressor's crafting recipe. Replaced flashlight with iron pipe due to the game demanding that the flashlight needs to have a battery in it. :D Thanks @Zombie967!
-Fixed some more LUA translation entries.

New Gun Update
-Introducing the SIG Sauer P226! A 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a 20-round magazine. Spawns mostly in gunstores, but can also be found on zombie holsters. Accepts all pistol attachments including laser sights, 9mm suppressor, gun light and both red dot sights. Thanks to Steam user Scout Gaming for this excellent suggestion! :)
-Added a sandbox option for spawning in Old Painless (the minigun). Have fun, ya freaks. ;)

Top-notch with how quickly you put this out, especially considering all you have had to learn recently. Thanks for the lightweight, yet fantastic mod. I like it more than Brita's at this point simply because it doesn't have as much bloat.

As far as I know, the magazine capacity of the 9mm Version of the P226 has a mag cap of only 15 rounds (and 12 rnds in .40 &.357).
